The 2nd bedroom has a separate balcony with ocean views! The floorplan is split and very private. The unit is quiet except for the sound of ocean waves.
The unit views the newly developed downtown Jacksonville Beach and is a short commute to the Jax airport, Mayo Clinic,and 30 minutes to downtown Jacksonville.Less than 10 miles to the TPC @ Sawgrass/Home of PGA Tour, 40 minutes to Nation's Oldest City,St. Augustine, & the New World Golf Village.
The beach is quiet and family friendly although a short walk to nightlife and great restaurants. The fishing pier is about 6 blocks down the beach, and can be viewed from the balconies. All new windows, doors, railings, updated baths, and bedding. You'll love the location and keep coming back. Nice pool area...

We know there are lots of condos from you to choose from but we feel our unit offers 950 square feet with a desirable floor plan. The bedrooms and baths are split so ideal for 2 couples or families. Each bedroom has its own balcony and bath. We take pride in ensuring your stay is memorable and enjoyable!
Our end unit is located by the stairs if you want to exit quickly and just down the corridor from the elevator. The building is small (23 units) and has many owner occupants which maintains a homelike feel for the property. We replaced our central air conditioning unit Sept 2012, have updated our furnishings in LR and DR (2013) and have flat screens TV's in both bedrooms and LR. We have Wifi access and a nice reading library for you to enjoy.
This property has amazing views. We really enjoyed sitting out in the deck and relaxing! Its a small condo community, safe and walking distance to everything. They are in the process of updating the unit, and we did end up with a delay of one day in getting in. Lynn and Gail were more than fair with offering a generous refund for the delay and an extra night at the end of our stay for free. I would definitely stay here again. :-)
The location is fabulous with many restaurants in walking distance. The view is awesome and the wrap-around balcony allows you to have the sun all morning and afternoon. Even when it was too windy on the beach (we were there in February), you could sit on the south balcony in the sun. Owners had everything we needed and came and fixed the TV within an hour of our call. We will definitely return!
Had a Fantaztik-time w/ My Beautiful-Wife, & Gorgeous-Daughter @ Jacksonville-beach !! WE All arrived @ The Beach-drifter Condo. WE had a " DOOR-CODE " to Our-unit. " NO ACCESS-CODE " to Gain-access Inside though !! :-( Would have-been Excellent to have that-code through Previous-correspondence !! :-( Thank GOD " GAIL " had a Contact-number !! ;-) She was a Life-saver !! ;-) The Unit itself needs a bit-of " UPGRADES " ... All-said. The location of this condo is perfect. I am originally from this area and I come back often. I have stayed at different condos all along Jax Beach so trust me on the location. It is top corner with views to the south and is close enough to walk to the pier but quiet and not overly crowded. The condo itself needs some maintenance and updating. I had maintenance and housekeeping issues during our stay but did not relay that to the owners until afterward. I was pleasantly surprised to see how quickly they responded to my concerns. Because of the issues I had experienced, I had decided I would not stay here again, but since they responded so quickly and indicated they would remedy the problems and seemed genuinely concerned, I would consider staying again. The pool is nice and clean and the area around it is well kept and best of all, you can see the ocean while standing in the pool area. (Most views are blocked by the dunes). Oddly though, there is no pool furniture at all. A permanent resident told me they were considering doing something about that so hopefully they do. There is an outside bathroom but it needs some serious work. The condo is nice size and the views are spectacular. The beds are comfortable. Surprisingly the large furniture in the living room does not crowd the space. It is actually roomy and comfortable. Do not plan on watching any television here as the tv's are pretty much worthless and you can't get any channels anyway. They do have a dvd player but we didn't try it. There is a bike rental store a couple of blocks away and they are fabulous. They even include bike locks. (Champion Cycling and Fitness) You can bike or walk to tons of restaurants, bars and shops. Even though there is no security here, it is in a pretty safe area. I did have some difficulty getting the garage door opener from the owner but I once I got it, life was good again. Covered parking is usually a deal breaker for me but that might not matter to the average visitor.
We highly recommend this condo. It was perfect for our family of four. The two twin beds in the second bedroom were perfect for our teenaged son and daughter to share. The kitchen is well appointed with everything we needed. We enjoyed the balcony. We picked Jax Beach because my husband is from Jax. It would have been nice to have an extra pair of hand towels to put out for family that visited. It was a great week. Great location! We also appreciated having the beach umbrella and chairs. We'll be back!
This place was perfect for my family of 4. Everything we needed and more was provided. The instructions for everything need updating as it was noted that parking spots were not reserved unless "Reserved" was written, but they were. Also, wifi was not as noted in the house instructions (either that or it wasn't working. We were not too concerned though since we didn't use it much and never contacted the home owner to address it). The linens were great. The appliances were a bit dated, but we didn't cook much and only ran the dish washer once (dishwasher is in sore need of updating). Elevator was key as this condo is on the top floor. Overall wonderful place. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip.
PLEASE NOTE: VERY IMPORTANT!!!! MUST PARK IN ASSIGNED PARKING SPOT .Our condo is conveniently located in North Jacksonville Beach, minutes to Atlantic and Neptune Beaches, and Ponte Vedra. Mayo Clinic is a 10 minute drive and is a great place to stay while undergoing testing or treatments. Not too far from UF Health if undergoing Proton Beam Therapy treatments as well. Historic St Augustine is a short and scenice to the south with the Outlets Mall and World Golf Village nearby; Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island is to the north. We are conveniently located for awesome exploring. Don't forget to check out Downtown Jacksonville, the Landing, Riverside Arts Market, and the Town Center Shopping Center, too! We are 5 blocks from the large Jacksonville Beach Fishing Pier if you're looking to catch some fish or just stroll out for the view above the ocean. The Seawalk Pavilion is 11 blocks from the condo and is home to festivals, concerts, and events like 4th of July celebration, the Sea and Sky Spectacular Air Show.
