Just come back from a week staying in this lovely converted barn. We were a family group with ages ranging from 4 to 75 years. All the bedrooms are really comfortable and have their own character. Downstairs is spacious and there is a large kitchen table to seat everybody, although we found it tricky to all comfortably sit in the lounge area as it is a bit more cosy. The kids loved having a pool table and also visiting Arthur, the large resident boar. Colin, the owner, was very helpful, giving us advise on days out, places to eat etc and also sorting out any issues in the house (problem with boiler when we arrived so he provided extra heaters). The location is great for plenty of excursions ; we visited Rye, Bodium Castle, Camber Sands, Dungeness Lighthouse and also travelled on the Romney -Dymchurch railway. There are not any large shops in the area but it is a 15 minute walk to a good bakery, butcher and village store and pub. We enjoyed 2 delicious meals at the Red Lion pub in Brede. Highly recommended this barn and we'll definitely be back in the future.
The barn is a wonderful property in a great location - fully equipped and very comfortable. Our extended family had a superb holiday here.
There was 13 of us staying in the luxury barn mixed adults and children we stayed for a week over the Christmas period, we enjoyed a amazing family New Year all together. The Barn had everything that we needed, very close to the lovely towns of Old Hastings and Rye. I would highly recommend this luxury barn.
