Lovely well-equipped flat in a tranquil but convenient location.
A great base to explore all of Seville on foot. Triana is an area of narrow streets full of character with its own bars and restaurants away from the main tourist area. All main sights within 20 minute attractive walk across the river. Lovely welcoming host and flat very clean and nicely furnished. We would very happily stay there again.
Come back soon!!! It was a pleasure to host you. All the best
Clean apartment , close to the historic district
Good value, safe area, only disadvantages is climbing the stairs two floors.
Thank you Ravi.
Yes, the apartment is in a second floor, there isn´t lift but it is easy to climb. All the best
No frills apartment with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
This apartment was perfect for what we needed; a clean and safe place to rest after walking all over Seville. Ignacio was great, spoke English well, and gave us a lot of good recommendations on places to eat, things to do, and tapas bars to hit up. The apartment is in a great location, away from all the hustle in Seville, just across the river in Triana. There are a lot of great tapas bars in Triana, and that is where the market on the river is, which was our favorite place to find ourselves when we were hungry. I also enjoyed how close we were to the river for a nightly stroll. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a no frills apartment for a decent price.
Thanks a lot for you kind review. All the best
Gracious host in Good location
The Triana location was very convenient. The host made good recommendations and even went out and bought us clothespins so we could wash our clothes. The Apartment could use some updating to bring it to what we would expect from VRBO, sufficient hot water for 2 showers, working heaters in the living room, and some nice touches like offering shampoo and a few snacks. We managed as it was only two nights. Overall our visit to Seville was made pleasant by the location and the graciousness of the host.
Compact and bijoux apartment in Triana district, wonderful location to explore Seville!
We have had a lovely stay at this cute apartment near the famous Calle Betis, along Seville's river originally also called Betis. The one bedroom apartment has a sofa bed, a small galley kitchen, and fitted wardrobe, plus a spacious bathroom. Given that there hundreds of bars, restaurants and tabernas in Seville, we hardly used the kitchen, and so we find the apartment perfectly suited to our need, a married couple with a young teen boy.
The location couldn't be better, just a stroll of 10 - 15 minutes, either end, crossing either over the Triana bridge or over the St. Telmo bridge, you reach the main sights, such as Plaza Nueva, Metropol Parasol...etc, or the largest Gothic Cathedral in the world, and the Real Alcazar, the royal palace where Games of Thrones filmed as Dorne, buttoday it's still the residence for the Spanish King when he visits Seville. Even though it's right in the middle of actions, the apartment is quiet in the evening, no bustle or hustle heard.
Macarena' husband greeted us and showed us the apartment. Super friendly, he also gave us the city map and marked on it points of interests, free flamenco places, good tapas...etc. Very useful for first time visitors like us. If you are planning a visit to Andalusia's gem - Seville, try this out!
A few tips:
The market, just at the Tiana bridge is open only to 3 p.m., but the bars and some specialties shops still stay open till evening. Although
Paella originated from Valencia, and tapas from Seville, if you are looking for paella, the restaurant near the wrought iron gate of the market with lots of Paella pans hanging over the bar area, is the place to go to. It closes at 5:30 p.m. And so be quick. There is also a theatre inside the market offering flamenco at 15 Euro per ticket, one of the admissions is at 6:30 pm.
Best tapas place in town, in our opinions, is at Blanca Paloma, which again, is just nearby. Continue walking along the road from Tiana Bridge, toward Triana direction, you will come to a Pedestrian zone, walk through it, about 2 minutes, and you will see a bar/ restaurant with green awnings, across the street, when you stop at the traffic lights. That's it! The staff is super friendly although with limited English. It bevpcomes packed very quickly and so go early.
Nice review from a nice guest. Thanks so much and we hope to host you again. All the best
Super clean, quiet and welcoming apartment - perfect location for exploring Sevilla!
We were warmly welcomed by Ignacio, who took the time to point us in the direction of many bars, restaurants and places of interest, even marking them on the map for us. The apartment is immaculately clean, extremely quiet and provides a perfect bolt hole for exploring both the barrio of Triana and the delights of Seville itself. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be happy to return if we are lucky enough to visit again.
Thank so much Rachel, it was a pleasure to host you. Come back soon!!!
Located on Calle Pelayo Correa, in the heart of the famous Triana neighborhood. Parallel to the route of the Rio Guadalquivir and Betis street, the latter is famous for being one of the most beautiful streets in Seville. On your walk you will enjoy just watching beautiful typical buildings, old churches, traces of flamenco, and of course, you can also make a stop between its many bars, cafes, pubs, restaurants where you can taste and enjoy the cuisine of the area and its famous "tapas" The neighborhood of Triana is undoubtedly the most picturesque and emblematic of the city. Located on the right bank of the Rio Guadalquivir, Triana Bridge connects directly with the city center. Its streets, its typical houses, "pens neighbors," beautiful churches, its flowers, and its inhabitants make this neighborhood a special and unforgettable. Cradle of bullfighters, flamenco singers and dancers, as well as historical figures, Triana love and captivates visitors. The Church of Santa Ana, the Church of Hope of Triana, Plaza del Altozano, Castilla Street, San Jacinto Street or Calle Betis are some of the mandatory stops. In the street you will find ancient pottery ceramic factories. The apartment's location is perfect if you want to enjoy all the attractions, restaurants, shopping areas, as well as the day and night life of Seville. Strategic location to enjoy Easter and the Feria de Sevilla. It will be in the city center just across the bridge, 10 min. walking down a ride unmatched
You can visit the city on foot since the main tourist attractions are within walking distance from the apartment.
If you wish to use public tranport, the apartment is well connected.
Next to the apartment there is the Metro station, bus stops and next to the Torre del Oro is the bus stop from the airport, you only need to walk 10 min. to the apartment. On Calle Pagés del Corro you have several bus stops. Square Weapons Station is not far away and from there buses to different cities (Cordoba, Madrid, etc) and to many towns such as Santiponce Seville where you can visit the ancient Roman city of Italica.
