About Robbie Bell

My name is Robbie Bell and my mother's name is Helen Richey. We own this home together. I work in real estate. Helen lives in Atlanta and is retired from sales. Helen handles most of the reservations and I maintain and oversee the property on a regular basis. This picture was taken while visiting Las Vegas.

I love to travel. After having the opportunity to travel to many different cities, I still believe that Savannah is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The history, architecture, and local culture of Savannah are all unique. What better way to experience the architecture and history of Savannah than staying in a beautiful historic home? I really can't think of any.

Robbie Bell purchased this house in 2007

Why Robbie Bell chose Savannah

I already owned a home in this block and this home became available. Mom wanted to have a home that she and her husband could stay in when she visited Savannah. This seemed to be a good fit for our family.

Wonderful Retreat for Families and Friends

  • 5 of 5

We reserved this house for our family to stay for son's wedding in Savannah. The house was perfect. It was elegant, very clean and well supplied. Our visitors commented that they couldn't believe that a house this nice was a rental property. It is within walking distance to the historic district and river. Helen was very polite and replied within a few hours of an email or phone call. When I reserved this house, we found out the bride's family was also renting from Helen and Robbie. They owners made both our families stay a wonderful experience!

True Savannah Experience

  • 5 of 5

This location is beautiful! It feel bigger in person than how it appears in photos, and even with 7 people staying in the house, it was not crowded at all! The location was perfect, and we were able to easily walk to many places. The hosts were quick to respond to all questions and very helpful. There were plenty of supplies - towels, kitchen utensils, toiletries, blankets, etc. If you're looking to experience the beauty of historical Savannah, I highly recommend this vacation home!

Thankful!

  • 5 of 5

We rented 507 Broughton for a family thanksgiving getaway and it was perfect! I was quite picky in selecting a home that might be able to let us fully experience Savannah first hand AND serve as a home away from home for Thanksgiving. The home and decor put you in the mood to explore Savannah and it's rich history as well as sit and stay a while in parlor or on quaint courtyard. Location was excellent - we dined, toured, shopped, exercised and never even got in our cars, though we did rent electric bikes which were fabulous for seeing everything easily. Kitchen and dining room were more than ample to serve Thanksgiving dinner for 10 easily. Robbie was so very helpful with suggestions and He fully stocked the kitchen with all the equipment we may have needed, extremely thoughtful. It was very clean and fully appointed, more like staying at the home of a good friend! I highly recommend the beautiful home or any property they make available.

Absolutely Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

We rented 511 Broughton and the Carriage House and had a great experience. Helen and Robbie are the ultimate Southern hosts. The furnishings, kitchen appliances and dishes, toiletries and linens were all top notch! We have rented many short-term vacation homes and I think this one surpassed every other! Plus, the location made for easy walks to restaurants and attractions. We will definitely rent from them next time we are in Savannah.
