A beautiful cabin set in its own garden, both cabin and garden very dog friendly. Centrally located and ideal for touring the north, shopping in Inverness or just chilling out at home. The cabin was very homely with little extras included, a lovely stay which I would recommend to anyone.
Beautiful log cabin set in ample gardens and dog freindly. The owners who live next door also have dogs and were very helpful and welcoming. The property which is easy to find is close to the major road network and is ideally located for Loch Ness, Fort George and both east and west coastal resorts. The Black Isle is full of interesting historical sites and villages as well as many outdoor activites and excellent restaurants.
Our family of two adults and two boys recently stayed at Red Kite Cottage and we would recommend to other families looking to explore the area. It was located close enough to Inverness to pick up supplies, great location for exploring the Black Isle, and easy drive to hill-walking in the country. We also enjoyed visiting Dorn and Nairn beaches, local restaurants, and historic Scotland sites. The cottage was a great place to relax at the end of a busy day.
Red Kite cottage provided a comfortable base in which to explore the beautiful Black Isle with easy access to the A9 to explore further a field. The cottage has lovely views across the fields and came with all the comforts of home including WiFi and very dog friendly.
Thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing and peaceful week at Red Kite Cottage. Absolutely everything one might need was provided. First holiday with our two young cocker spaniels who just loved the safe and secure garden. Pity we couldn't have chosen the weather as it rained every day but the cottage is perfectly located for exploring the Highlands.
Perfect comfortable place to stay near Inverness. The views out of the windows are amazing! We had a great time and hope to be back soon. It's convenient and a restful place to recharge.

Follow the A9 for approx 4 miles. Exit the A9 to the right crossing the carriageway toward Allangrange (there is also a Black Isle Brewery signpost at this junction).
At the T junction turn left. Follow the road and the turn first right a few hundred metres along toward Munlochy (there is another Black Isle Brewery sign).
