About George

As a private pilot, I enjoy flying from California out to my FlyingAdobe casita in Santa Fe. I love the weather, people, cuisine, hiking outdoors, and culture of Santa Fe. George purchased this house in 2007

Why George chose Santa Fe

4 days was not long enough

What a beautiful, unique neighborhood, we walked to the plaza twice. Lovely neighborhood & the neighbors we met were very friendly. The house was comfortable & we slept really well. We spent evenings sitting outside enjoying the warm evenings. Other than letting George know we had arrived, the house is so well appointed we didn't need to contact him again. Everything you need in a special unique neighborhood & home. We live in a 1932 Craftsman home so George's casita was a fun experience for us. We LOVED it!

We spent 3 nights in this lovely comfortable home. It is a nice respite in busy Santa Fe.

George was a wonderful host, easy to connect with and very helpful.

Would stay here again.

Great, dog-friendly property

  • 4 of 5

This property was perfect for our needs. Our dogs could hang out in the small courtyards and not be cooped up inside, like in a hotel. The accommodations were comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants, galleries, the Railyard area and the park near the river. The neighborhood was cute and interesting, with lots of old adobes and unique courtyards. We would absolutely stay again.

It was a little bit of a pain having to download the "app" to get the arrival information and combination for the locks. Please consider sending this via email or regular mail in the future. Thanks!

Great location close to Plaza, museums and restaurants, convenient shopping

  • 4 of 5

Very comfortable for 2 people. Everything as indicated in the promotional materials- including the creaking roof when temps change - very amusing, sounds like animals on the roof.

Excellent spot in Santa Fe

  • 5 of 5

I loved staying at the Flying Adobe Casita, it was so very well appointed with lovely furnishings, reflective and respective of the history of the place, and everything one could want in the kitchen. A wonderful respite from the outdoors, and a very nice walk along the Santa Fe River to the Plaza. Very convenient access to the west side highway, a lovely location. I want to come back again.
