About Debbie Malinowski
Since purchasing our cabin, we've done a number of upgrades; new siding, new vinyl windows, new roof, new kitchen counter, new electrical panel, all new plumbing, new hot water heater, all new efficient baseboard heaters, fresh paint and a new air conditioning unit. A mix of rustic charm and modern amenities. We plan on continuing to make improvements and offer the best value on the lake. There is a washer/dryer in the storage room.

Why Debbie Malinowski chose Lake Santeetlah
After visiting many, many lakes throughout the Southeast to find the perfect family retreat, we stumbled onto Lake Santeetlah. After our first visit, we knew this was the place we had long awaited. The serenity, the mountains, the rustic charm, the clear waters, the remote coves and the small town community made us feel like we were on vacation on every visit. Santeetlah is a best kept secret and unspoiled due to its National Forest shoreline. Lake Santeetlah cannot be re-created, but for those who want to experience nature at its best, seeing is believing.
What makes this Cabin unique
The beauty of Santeetlah is a double threat - the mystique of the Smoky Mountains coupled with the crystal clear waters. During the early mornings you can sit at the screened porch or on the dock and enjoy a cup of coffee while the morning dew gradually rises from the water revealing the mountain landscape and pallet of colors. Only a handful of the lake properties have beach access to the waters, our is one of those rarities. This feature allows you to place beach chairs in the water edge and allows children to play at the waterfront and makes it easier to enter the warm water at your own pace to wade or swim rather than diving or climbing ladders as required by most properties. Plenty of parking also makes this property a desired location.

Camphouse feel, wonderful location
This small 2 bedroom was perfect for us and 2 grandkids. Neat and clean, cute interior. Best thing is the screened porch and proximity to the lake, you are steps away. Nice dock for swimming and fishing, and 3 kayaks, and tons of water toys. Only negative are the steep stairs, 37 of them from parking to house. Might be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.
Cute little cabin, perfect
For a getaway. Joan was very kind and accommodating with everything! Such a wonderful place!
Debbie was great with helping us get everything set for our stay. Joan and Dave were amazing Hosts,!
Home very clean and had everything we needed. Spent most time outside and in the screen in porch. We had a lovely stay and will love to come back in the fall. Joan and Dave are super hosts. This was our favorite experience with all of our experiences renting with VRBO. We would highly recommend this rental, perfect place for a peaceful escape. Area offers such beauty, nature, hiking and any lake activities. Thank you for our special memories and experiences of this beautiful lake home and wonderful company!
Wonderful place on a very peaceful lake!
My son and I had a very memorable vacation here, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect location. We loved the cabin, the lake, and the quiet surroundings. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, the screened in porch, dock and beach area were great features, and we enjoyed having the kayaks available for getting out on the lake. Co-owner Debbie was fantastic. We will definitely be back, and recommend the property highly to others.
We had a great time at the lake. Everything was as described and Debbie was very attentive to our needs.
