Powers Lake is the best lake in Wisconsin-clean,quiet&pristine.We had a wonderful time at your home! What a fabulous deck and yard to BBQ and play games. The house is great for multiple families/couples because there is plenty of rooms to hang out in and you don't feel crammed. We especially enjoyed the big long table in the sun room-perfect for dinners. We hope to be back next summer

Spacious, clean, inviting, relaxing!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay here was wonderful! We enjoyed every moment of it. Beds were very comfortable, the sun room was a spacious, cheery and relaxing room to hang and play games and the kitchen was well stock with items to prepare the food we brought and dishes to serve in.

Location was great, away from tourism, yet close enough to explore what the area had to offer.

We hope to make this type of venue a retreat for the girls getaway!

The best place in the best location on the best lake (in a nutshell)

  • 5 of 5

My family of 4 spent the week at this fantastic place. We had friends, relatives and kid's friends come up to hang out with us on various days. We brought our boat and had a fantastic time with absolutely no problems or disappointments, none. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Bill and Mary are the fabulous owners and they have thought of everything you could possibly need in a place including maintaining the fantastic swimming area keeping a nice sandy bottom and a fire pit for smores. They are also ready with any question you may have about the place or the lake. The lake is a wonderful, clear, deep and spring fed lake with this house in the perfect spot for sunsets and morning coffee. The town of Twin Lakes is 5 minutes away for groceries and great places to eat. There is plenty of room and the place is furnished perfectly. We love lakehouses and have probably rented about 20 over the years and this one is by far the best place we have ever rented.

Gorgeous, spacious vacation home!

  • 5 of 5

Our family stayed at this lovely house for a long weekend to celebrate my grandma's 90th birthday, with my parents, two siblings and their partners, and my family of five (including baby). There was plenty of room for everyone and my grandma was able to use the main floor bedroom. We spent much time in the huge "great room" and loved that we could all fit at the large dining table. The weather was not beautiful that weekend so we spent a lot of time indoors - enjoying how comfortable and spacious the home was! Although we were able to play in the large yard and Bill kindly took out the paddle boat for us to take the kids out on the lake. Our only complaints were that although the house was handicap accessible, there is not a full bathroom on the main floor so we had to help my grandma up the stairs for her shower. Also, my dad wasn't thrilled with the space to tie up his fishing boat, which required someone to get in the water (none of the rest of us minded though, and my dad never had to get in himself anyways!). We definitely hope to be back!!

Powers Lake Paradise

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this beautiful home for three days in early August for a family reunion and celebration of my sister-in-law's 60th birthday. It is spacious and clean, well-decorated, and very comfortable. We brought our own boat, so we could enjoy the pier and lake. We had very windy and stormy weather the first two days with spectacular lightning shows. The owners are so accommodating with any requests. I highly recommend this property.

Great family house!

  • 5 of 5

My family needed a large house to accommodate our multi-generational family of 10 for Thanksgiving. This house fit the bill perfectly. We all had ample space and the kitchen worked wonderfully to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. The enclosed porch was so big that we even had room to invite other family for dinner. I'd highly recommend this property for a large group get away.

Great summer vacation home!

  • 4 of 5

This is our third stay at this house, and we all love it! There is plenty of room to spread out. When we are not out at the lake or on the huge deck, we are in the sunroom. It is so big and roomy, with a huge table to eat at or for the kids to play games. The home is clean and the owners are very helpful. We have small grandkids, and they enjoy using the owners paddleboat for rides. When we asked to use this, Mary was quick to get it out for us and hose it down. The house is on a septic system, and needed to be emptied while we were there. Mary let us know as soon as she could, and it was taken care of by morning.

The dock has a large seating area with updated furniture, which was so nice. While the dock is shared by the owners, they are very generous and have never used the dock when we are there.

If you have small children, keep in mind that the lake is across the street from the house, but it is a quick crossing and we have never had any problems. The view from the house, the deck and the sunroom make you feel like you are right next to the lake!
