About Erin Woods
HI----my name is Lisa and I have been a Bend-ite for over 40 years, and am very proud to have watched her grow from a very small town to a very small city. Always unique. I live on a 20 acre ranch and grow hay, raise chickens, and garden-up wonderful vegetables. I run my cottages like I run my life. Great attention to detail and personal attention to my guests----I believe every Bend vacation at the cottages should be a great one, if I do my job right. If you call you'll actually talk to me! Look forward to it----
Erin Woods purchased this Cottage in 1998
Why Erin Woods chose Old Bend
This is THE best location in Bend-----park and walk to everything that makes Bend so special. And when your home here, your really home. Settle in and let the Autumn work her magic.
What makes this Cottage unique
The benefits of this cottage are just what I look for when I travel-----the freedom of vacationing in the comfort of a home.

This little cottage is Great! Beds are supper comfy! Short walk to down town, and Old Mill District. Backyard is fenced, very nice for our furry little friend.
Erin was very quick to react to any of our needs.
Thank you Bend, tell next time!!
Thank you for staying at the Sunrise Cottage! It's nice being so centrally located and able to see all that Bend has to offer. See you next time!
Adorable cottage in great location!
Autumn Bend had a nice layout and comfortable furnishings. We had every amenity that we needed and really enjoyed the hot tub after a long hike. It's conveniently located to greenways, restaurants, and shops. Lisa was very helpful and answered our questions promptly.
Greetings Carol and Company- I’m so glad you enjoyed your quick trip to Bend and the Autumn Cottage. I think you may have been my first guest from North Carolina and you represented well —- Thank you for leaving it in such good shape! I must apologize about the not great weather while you were here, but I have not figured out how to control that yet. Glad the things about the cottage that I can control suited you so well! Come back when it warms up and feel the wonderful high desert sun work her magic. Thanks again!
Cozy House Close to Everything
We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The beds were comfortable and the whole place was very clean. We could walk to the grocery store and several breweries. The yard was perfect for our dog and sitting outside would be wonderful in the summer. We would definitely stay here again.
Thank you so much for the nice comments. Summer in Bend is indeed super...and we have the cruiser bikes out then too, to bop around town on. Hopefully we will see you then!!
Nice place, was clean and cozy. Much smaller than we thought but overall nice place.
Yes... the Autumn Cottage is a cute, clean, and cozy 900 square foot cottage, with wonderful outdoor space, a private hot tub, and many other thoughtful details to make your Bend time just right. Its laid out so well it actually seems bigger than that, but it is indeed a cottage. We offer 20+ pictures online and our written description describes it to a tee. Im not sure why you might have expected it to be a larger home?
I'm happy to say that we do have bigger vacation rentals available if you might need more space next time around though. Just give me a call when your heading to Bend and we will get you lined out with exactly the size home you need. Thanks again---
Everything you could ever need is in this rental. We enjoyed our stay so much.
Thank you so much!
I always enjoy and appreciate finding a spot when I travel, that I can say that exact thing about...it makes the trip so special. Appreciate you taking the time to share ---- Happy Holidays! Thanks again----
Perfect location, wonderful getaway!
Overall, we had a wonderful experience! Was in close contact regarding a possible early check-in time which I appreciated! Everything was as pictured and had everything we needed! The backyard and jacuzzi were a great part of the stay - especially to enjoy all the beautiful fall weather we had!
I would say the main bedroom could use a new bed/mattress and the living room TV was very outdated (not that we were spending all our time watching TV, but was hard to catch a little bit of Sunday football while relaxing in between all the activities!). Other than that, everything was really great!
Thanks for the note --- we always enjoy hearing feedback as we pride ourselves on keeping our place updated and nice for our guests. Really glad your overall experience was wonderful ---just how we like it!
We always have to wait until our off-season hits to take care of the bigger refurb items in our places... and our Fall weather was so exceptionally wonderful this year that we stayed busy right through October.
Im very happy to report that our brand new (top of the line) pillow-top mattresses arrive tomorrow for both bedrooms so we can keep you comfy next trip --- Love that new-bed feel!
The flat-screen TV in the living room is really not old and works great, but it's not a brand new Smart TV (Im addicted to Netflix so I feel your pain) We cannot keep up with the new technology every year, although we'd love to ---just not in the budget. However we do have plans for a larger NEW Smart TV for that spot just in time for Christmas movies! Saving our pennies now...
Have a wonderful Fall and then come back to see all the new goodies!
Bend offers one of the most charming downtown areas in the Pacific Northwest, with tree-lined streets and cobblestone sidewalks. It feels both like a Norman Rockwell painting and a chic, cosmopolitan center.
This historic downtown area combines modern city amenities with stunning natural views and outdoor activities. It features a wide array sophisticated and unique small businesses, from beauty salons to fitness stores, from clothing boutiques to art galleries. Downtown Bend is also a diner’s paradise: make a reservation at Zydeco or Joolz Restaurant and indulge in award-winning dishes prepared by some of the most renowned chefs in the country. And don’t miss out on the five downtown breweries serving up frothy ambers and crisp lagers.
Just west of downtown is Drake Park, where a dam that brought electricity to Bend in 1910 still operates and has created the picturesque Mirror Pond. South of the park is the Riverfront Neighborhood with older mill-worker cottages, like our vacation home. Downtown Bend and the surrounding neighborhoods offer the perfect place to visit or live for those seeking a town with character and history. Keep an eye out for regular events, such as film festivals or art shows.
