Eight windows in the living/dining area allow for maximum views. Dining room seats 6, fully equipped kitchen features all new stainless steel appliances, cookware, dishes, as well as breakfast bar seating for 4. Laundry room for your convenience. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, new 32" Flat screen TV & private bath with walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a new Queen bed, new flat screen TV, with a full bath across the hall. Why Ronald Berges chose Port St. Joe

A good friend from college introduced me to the Cape San Blas area. He owns the unit below this one. This property was attractive due to the proximity to the Gulf, the privacy, and the openness of the unit. It is perfect as a family getaway, couples retreat, and romantic hideaway. This unit was purchased from previous owner Gerald Allen and his daughter Roxanne, who has guided me in the transition to rental property owner.

What makes this condo unique

Even when the Cape is at the height of the busy summer season, it is "slow and relaxed". It's a very peaceful stretch of unspoiled, "Old Florida" sand. There are few places like this left to enjoy.

Roxanne, this was truly a lovely place to spend two weeks. Each place we've stayed over the years has had its own special charm, but yours was the most comfortable inside and the most beautiful outside. Your interior colors and furniture are so refreshing, and the cathedral ceiling and the high windows give so much light! It's been grand sitting on the deck and reading, watching the changing moods of the Gulf water, shelling, watching the dolphins that came almost every morning, watching the sun set. We wish you and your father well in renting it and for opportunities to spend quiet time here yourselves.

Notes:
Our beach home is perfect for couples and small families. If you're traveling with extended family and need more space, let me know and I'll put you in touch with our neighbor who shares the top floor of the building with us...... what could be better: 5 bedrooms , 4 baths and 2 kitchens!!! This will be the vacation destination that you will want to return to over and over, as many of our renters return year after year. Weekly rentals starting on weekends are Sunday to Sunday.

We found everything that we needed to have a wonderful trip. We would love to go back anytime. There was ample space for all 5 of us, and all the comforts of home. One special reminder for those traveling with anyone that needs help with stairs. Practically all properties on the beach will require going up and down stairs as does this property. That concern aside, don’t hesitate to rent this property. It has beautiful views, and it is right on the beach.

Great location! Spacious and inviting! Weather was soooo cold, but had fun shopping and exploring

Owner's Response: Glad you had a good time. We always try to order good weather for our guests, but Mother Nature sometimes doesn't co-operate. We've found the fireplace, while an attractive piece, to be a liability for the house and therefore, it's only decorative.

Terrific location and view! Very comfortable place.

Our stay was early December which made for NO crowds - which was really nice. Super chill and laid back. Services on the cape (restaurants, grocery stores) are limited but both Port St. Joe and Apalachicola are within easy drives (again, no people/traffic at this time of year) and each has its unique appeal. The beach is as you would expect from the Florida panhandle - powdery white sand and clear, aqua water. Antigua Sunset was quite comfortable and with a commanding view of the Gulf and the sunsets. We definitely plan to return to Cape San Blas.

P.S. - The condo could use a number of new light bulbs. Many of the lamps and fixtures had dead bulbs - or no bulbs at all.

Toes in the sand

Condo is nice, spacious and relaxing, only being steps away from the sand and surf. Awesome sunsets, and great dolphin watching. The owner responds promptly with any questions and is very easy to work with. In walking distance of the trading post which includes the Eddy's ice cream shack that our kids visited quite often.

Nice dog friendly property with a beautiful view of the gulf.

We had a wonderful last minute vacation at Antigua Sunset on Cape San Blas. Everything was very comfortable and the property was well equipped. The only problem that we encountered was that when we arrived it had not been cleaned since the last visitors. It was a mix-up with the cleaning company and was taken care of immediately. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning!
