The beach is great for walking, shelling, jogging, hiking, biking, fishing, and sunsets. Fantastic views from the balconies include the Ocean, the Beach, the Pool and the Inter-coastal Waterway. Watch wild birds, dolphins, and boats from your private balconies. The north balcony off the kitchen has enough room to have dinner for four.
Site amenities: Heated pool and Jacuzzi, beach volleyball, gas grills, beach chairs, tables & umbrellas on premises for guests to enjoy. Assigned covered parking in building with plenty of visitor's parking. Luggage carts, Elevator and of course the stairs.
Living & Dining Area: All new furniture, including leather sleeper sofa, love seat and rocker-recliner. Plasma TV with VCR and DVD player and a stereo system. Computer desk with computer and wireless high-speed Internet access. The dining table has seating for six w/ ceiling fan.
Kitchen: Totally renovated and fully equipped including all new cabinets, granite countertop and all new appliances including, Stove/oven, Microwave, Dishwasher Refrigerator with water and ice in the door. There is a door that leads on to a balcony with a table and chairs for comfortable seating for four.
Master Suite: All new furniture, king size bed with Temperpedic mattress, Plasma TV, ceiling fan, plenty of closet space and private bath with walk-in shower and a balcony looking to the east with views of the Intercostals Waterway.
Guest Room: All new furniture, queen size bed, ceiling fan and plenty of closet space.

On this same property there used to be a motel called the 'Gulf Lane', which my family started coming to in the mid 1960's. We've been to other areas in Florida, but when we decided to purchase a condo for ourselves, we wanted to be in an area that had plenty of things to do. Not only for us but for our children and grandchildren. We love the area and it proximity to major attractions. Orlando is less than 2 hours away.
We like to think that we are a cut above the competition and worth the extra. We supply toilet paper, trash bags, paper towel, dish soap, laundry supplies, hair dryer, beach towels, toaster, full set of pots & pans, mixer, bicycles, etc. This is our second home and we have it decorated and stocked it for ourselves, not the bare minimum for tenants as many places do.
We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It's beautiful and so incredibly stocked like no other place we've stayed. The owner sent an incredibly thorough in sending us info on the condo and area sites and places to go. Furniture is comfy and the kitchen is awesome. Bathrooms are really nice and updated too.
We had a few hiccups - 1. Air conditioning unit stopped working and while we do NOT blame the owner for this we wished he would have been a bit more concerned and speedy at getting someone out to fix it. We had a rough night of very high humidity (90%) that was not comfortable especially with no window that opens in the 2nd bedroom. 2. The wi-fi was not great and had to use our data in certain rooms like the master bedroom. 3. We had to ask for our deposit back and had to wait until the owner was back from his vacation.
Not sure if we'd rent again but will for sure be back to the area. It's a great location. Parking spot right by the elevator and the pool is heated and usually pretty empty. Loved the 3 different balconies too. Really nice town and gulf boulevard is a great street with tons and tons to do.
Our rental over the Christmas holidays was everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked better than any other rental we have used. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The furnishings on all 3 balconies made it hard to choose where to sit. The condo was clean and ready for us and Pat was available for a last minute question on our second day there. This rental was a very positive experience. You won't be disappointed. It's true to the rental description. Thanks to the Kruegers and to Pat!
This was our second year staying at the Beach Cottages and renting this unit.
We shared the unit with another couple and it provides adequate privacy with the two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The unit is spacious, exceptionally clean, nicely decorated with new furniture and quality linen/towels are provided. The kitchen is well stocked with all the conveniences, dishes, utensils, to prepare great meals if you choose to do so. If not, there are many great eating places close by. Great views are provided from the three balconies. The pool area is exceptionally maintained and the beach is only steps away. The owners and cleaning staff are very friendly and very accommodating. We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone who wishes for a relaxing vacation in an 5 Star environment!
Views of intercostal waterway or ocean depending which of the 3 balconies you choose to sit on. Very nice decor with everything you need. Have stayed two times and enjoyed it very much. Patio with pool area is a great place to relax. Highly recommend staying here.
The second we walked in the door, we were impressed with the condo - Clean, spacious...... just as described! The three patios offered great and differing views to both the Gulf and Intercoastal. We really appreciated all of the little extras - computer, games, great kitchen. Wish we would have found this place when our kids were little - Owners have thought of everything for little kids too all the way down to sippy cups:-) Great customer service as well! Plenty of room for our family of five with tweeners to be together or spend some time alone - appreciated a large kitchen with ample eating space. The beach was amazing too! We would definitely return here for another vacation.
My husband and I were looking for R&R and we found it. The condo itself is beautifully appointed with every amenity you could want and anything you could need for a comfortable stay. Great views from all three balconies, easy access to the elevator and even a reserved parking space underneath out of the sun. Tom has thought to provide everything from beach chairs and an umbrella to every utensil you could possibly need in the kitchen - all the comforts of home with a beach view! We had one minor issue with the TV but I sent Tom a message and within just a few minutes he had us on the phone with the cable company and it was taken care of - great service! One of the best things was the informational notebook waiting for us on the dining table - told us everything we could need to know about the condo as well as great recommendations on restaurants and fun things to do in the area - very helpful! Tom was great to deal with and so nice - we look forward to returning for another visit!
