Units are completely separate from each other with private accomodations including private front and rear entrances.

Each unit has its own private (fenced) furnished patio area with there own gas grills. Gate can be opened in back yard to mingle the patio areas if you rent both units.

6th Street South beaches are a short 4 minute walk from the front door. Every other block is guarded during the summer months.

Brigantine - Discover the Jersey Shores best kept secret in beautiful Brigantine Island. Only one way on and off this Island means no through traffic. Miles and miles of pristine beaches including 3 miles completely undeveloped at the North end, great restaurants, golf, boating, fishing, bike trails and so much more all add up to one great vacation resort. Need more excitement' Atlantic City is only 15 minutes over the bridge with 3 casinos within 10 minutes. Also, Ocean City, Margate and Ventor are only ~30 minutes away.

Wonderful experience

Had a great time at this well maintained beach house. Owner was very responsive and great communication skills through out the process. House was very clean, with a great grill in the back yard to accommodate large groups if needed. New TV in living room (not updated on photos presently) and a loft that was great for teenagers to hang out and have their own personal area complete with their own living room and three beds. Beach was only a block away and it's never too crowded. Neighborhood was nice and neighbors very friendly. Short walk to Rita's icecream and town. If you got a sweet tooth like me try the fruity pebble blendini!

Suggestions to travelers:

If u got small kids Diggerland (53 min), Ocean City (35 min), and Storybook Land (24 min) were all close enough to do a morning/afternoon trip followed by a 4-6 pm beach swim before firing up the grill. I brought my Apple TV and it was easy to plug into hdmi port on tv so kids could watch their favorite shows and movies.

For gamblers AC only a few miles away and I used uber and it was usually around 14 bucks and they were there fast.

If I go back to brigantine I will definitely stay here again. Great honest price for a quality home with very nice owners. Don't hesitate on this home it's a no brainer

Had a great experience using both levels!

A wonderful vacation house

We have rented this house for the past 5 summers. My family has rented both units and have been extremely happy with the home and the customer service provided by Thom. We have 4 children and each unit accommodated our family ( and some of their friends) quite well. The place is clean and well maintained. The owner was quick to answer questions and provide suggestions about the charming town and the many things to do. The beautiful beach is close by, as are a small grocer, Wawa and CVS - all within walking distance. We hardly use our cars when we stay! You can walk to get ice cream, go to church, etc. Thom and his wife are trustworthy and so gracious. I wouldn't want to rent from anyone else. I was shocked to read the previous review about cleanliness.Every year when we come, the home is clean, and we see something new has been added. Last summer it was new furniture outside. I have not used the cleaning option, but rather have always chosen to clean the house myself. I have never had a problem with the security deposit. It was always returned to us in full. I would ,without reservation recommend this home.

Read description carefully

Good access to a lovely beach with very adequate property in an interesting location. However, in the description you will note that linens (sheets and towels) are not supplied (the first time we have ever experienced this) so if you are flying in from a distance, this may not be the place for you. Also, I would suggest that your include the extra charge for cleaning in your budget. The owner contended that we did not leave the property in "checked in condition" although there were dirty towels in a bathroom when we checked in.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the feedback here. I will start offering a linen service with the 2016 season. Regarding cleaning, we provide option at lease signing to pay for a service or self-clean to "check in condition" to help budget conscious tenants reduce costs. I detail in check-in documents the cleaning expectations and essentially ask for unit to be cleaned to same condition they found in check-in. In this case, the unit was not left in an acceptable condition for in-coming tenants and had to be cleaned. I have offered this option for past 8 years averaging 25 rentals per season and less than 3% of those rentals have resulted in cleaning related deductions. Two of those occurred during the 2015 season and both tenants posted negative reviews as a result. The deductions that were taken in both cases were clearly spelled out in the lease agreement and should have come as no surprise here. Please contact me via phone or email any time to discuss your interest in my property.

Great value for a charming house!

I rented the place for July 4th weekend to host my girlfriend's birthday weekend with her friends. Everyone was charmed when they saw the house, from the miniature lighthouse in front to the assortment of beach-related signs hanging on the walls. The place was clean and comfortable - the A/C worked great even with all ten people in the home on days where temperatures were close to 100F. Parking was adequate (4 spaces if you include the spot behind the other three), and there was street parking available too. There's also a Wawa just two streets down that was useful for grabbing snacks and drinks when we ran out.

The backyard is spacious and the grass was green and well-kept. If the weather weren't so hot we'd have spent a lot of time there. The gas-powered grill is large enough to grill at least 8 patties at once, so feeding a crowd wasn't a problem.

The beach was just a quick stroll away - maybe 150 yards from the front steps to the sand. Beach tags are needed, but those are included with the rental.

Thom was also a pleasure to deal with. When I had questions about the property, he answered my emails typically on the same day. He suggested a great vantage point from which to watch the 4th of July fireworks away from the crowds.

In short, the next time I'm looking to host a group of friends in the AC area, Thom's number is the first one I'll call.

What a great beach house!!

This beach house was the BEST money we spent this summer! Our family of 8 (4 children) found the house extremely well-maintained and exceptionally clean. The check-in/out process was well organized and very renter friendly. The house layout was perfect and roomy- our kids loved the loft (and so did the adults!). The owner was super-very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this beach house for rental!!!
