Welcome to Quinta Destilaria!

Quinta Destilaria is a beautiful holiday home restored farmhouse from 1900, located on the outskirts of the charming town of Lousã.

The house is surrounded by a large garden with olive and fruit trees, overlooking Serra da Lousã. The garden is a great place for a delicious BBQ with Portuguese sardines and Vinho Verde, cozy up to the large picnic table. Take between a dip in the plunge pool or laze in the hammock between the olive trees.

The center of Lousã is only 5 minutes cycling on oma, where you many cozy restaurants, cafes, bakeries and a (covered) market finds.

In the hills of Serra da Lousã are many beautiful hiking trails. For mountain bikers and paragliders these hills are a must!

The house has two floors with four bedrooms on the upper floor with a double bed in each room (if desired, an extra bed in one of the rooms are located). One of the bedrooms is adjacent to the beautiful conservatory overlooking the hills of the Serra da Lousã. The two modern bathrooms have a shower, sink, toilet and underfloor heating and a bathroom with a bathtub.

The ground floor is a beautiful open and bright living room with modern kitchen, large corner sofa, TV and DVD player, WiFi, large dining room and laundry room with toilet, sink and washing machine. The ground floor has underfloor heating so it is also enjoyable in the colder months.

The cottage sleeps up to eight people *, but with fewer people or just wonderful with two of this house is a very pleasant stay.

Lovely Quinta, highly recommended

Beautiful house! 7 of us stayed for a week, it rained a lot so we spent quite a bit of time in the house and absolutely loved it. There is more than enough space but the house feels cozy, its very well furnished and all kitchen equipment you can think of is available. Two bathrooms upstairs were very handy and the internet signal was fine. You can walk into town for shops and restaurants or drive into the mountains for breath-taking scenery. Pedro was at hand for any questions we had and I would definitely stay here again.
