Second stay in this marvellous villa
This is truly a fantastic villa and is a hidden gem. Offers a sense of been away from it all in the beautiful setting , but near to costal resorts. The villa has a true rustic feel that has ample space both inside and out. The pool is large and offers amazing views out to sea . There are great outdoor eating areas, both round the pool and directly off the kitchen .
The villa is well equipped and very clean. Carman and her family are very welcoming into there wonderful home and you couldn’t ask for better host.
This area of Tenerife has a more traditional feel, offering dramatic views . The beaches and local harbour at San Juan and snorkelling at Alcala are my personal favourite if in the car. However don’t be put off by the distance from the coast on the map it’s only a 20 mins walk to Los Gigiantes or La Arena beach. That offer all you need in terms of restaurants , bars and nightlife . There is a lovely walking costal path between them , where you find along the way natural swimming pools.
We have visited in the main summer and winter and both times have been a lovely relaxing family break . We are already planning our return. Thank you carmen and see you soon xx
Beautiful rustic rural house fantastic
We stayed for a week and it just went too quick, the house is a beautiful old farmhouse in a quiet rural location but still only a few minutes drive to the supermarkets and shops, 30 minutes walk down to bars and restaurants and only €5 taxi ride home. We were met at the property with the keys and shown around the owners were extremely nice and very helpful and left us fresh picked bananas from the plantation. The gardens and pool and BBQ area are kept immaculate and everything is just as in the photos, I would not hesitate too book again. Well equipped couldn't have asked for more, perfect relaxing holiday. Thank you Carmen for a great stay
Enjoy a real Spanish Finca, rustic but brilliant. Plenty of space for everyone, great outside areas in sun or shade. Lovely gardens and in a quite location. A little remote without a car as walking back is uphill, but les than 5 mins to Coast and taxis costs back very reasonable. Loved Alcala, San Juan and La Caleta. All in all great place to stay, reasonable price and lovely people.
A spacious and tranquil villa with wonderful views
If you want to feel a bit pampered but not spend a lot, this is for you! The villa is a real gem. It is well placed for easy accessibility to the airport, close to the resort of Los Gigantes, but feels tucked away in a quiet spot. There is plenty of space, both indoors and outside and the pool area is wonderful, being west facing with sea views and a great place to watch the sun set over the island of Gomera.
We were very comfortable here. There is a good choice of sitting areas and the villa is well equipped. The paths are swept clean of falling leaves and blossom every few days and a large bunch of bananas from the plantation was left on our doorstep for us to enjoy!
If you like exploring by car, the property is well placed for going north and driving on the exciting, narrow but well maintained mountain roads.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa.
Preaceful, charming, traditional home on a finca - beautiful.
This is the second time we have booked with Carmen and stayed in the beautiful Finca. The first time we booked the smaller two bedroom house, but this time we stayed at La Casa Grande which comfortably accomodates 6-8 people in the same charming and traditional comfort.
We were greated like old friends and spent Christmas by the pool in the sunshine. I have no doubt we'll return at some point as this is such a great location for exploring the island, and such a peaceful home to return to at the end of the day.
Thank you, Carmen for having us again. We look forward to seeing you again (and again) om the coming years.
Tranquil haven in a traditional character property.
If you like modern and perfect this is not the place for you. It's an old building that was a family home. Very traditional and peaceful even with the main road not far. I absolutely adore this place and could quite happily live there. Carmen and her family are delightful and very friendly, as is Juan the gardner/handyman. He is happy to talk to you even though he only speaks Spanish. I hope to return to this wonderful part of Tenerife for many years to come.
This accommodation has information and maps of the area, leaves hiking trails, sightseeing, hiking volcanism, restaurants, etc. for a good find on the island. Our offer is for a nature loving hiker, diver, climber and local culture.
