About Linda

We have been property owners (long term home rental) for over 35 years. We found we wanted to spend more time in Estes Park and thought it would be wonderful to have a home there. We are loving it! The opportunity to meet guests, and see what a wonderful time they are having is great. We like being able to contribute to your overall experience of Estes Park and the Rocky Mountains by providing a special place to call home while you are here!

Linda purchased this house in 2007

Why Linda chose Rocky Mountain National Park

Estes Park is such a unique location that all ages love it! At least in our family. From the babies, toddlers, & teens, to our honeymooners & couples, young families, on up to great-grandma and great-grandpa. Everyone just has the BEST time-every time they visit. It was a PERFECT FIT for us and our extended family!

What makes this house unique

The awesome views. Many mountain ranges, and Lake Estes. Unique in the amount of views all around the home.

Estes Park Panoramic Mountain Home

  • 5 of 5

My family had an awesome time making this mountain house our home for a family vacation. We loved the decor, space, outdoor views and peacefulness. We saw deer and the fireworks view from our deck was spectacular! I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to family and friends. We did some walking, putt putt, shopping downtown, and the sky-lift along with all of the relaxing and family fun cooking in the spacious kitchen.

Wonderful time in the mountains, we hope to stay again.

  • 5 of 5

We loved our time at Linda's Mountain Home. When we arrived, there were a few issues (broken heater, cable) but Linda answered on the first ring and fixed everything very quickly. She was friendly and welcoming and the rest of our stay was wonderful. We really enjoyed our time and can't wait to come back. The combination of beautiful views, privacy, and the fact that you're basically in town are divine. We hope to return next year and stay even longer. Thanks Linda for opening your cabin to us.

It was very clean and very well taken care of. Everything we needed was at the cabin. Great job!

  • 5 of 5

Great location, no sound of traffic just very relaxing. Loved the view of both the lake and the mountains. We brought too much stuff from home because everything you need the cabin has. Very clean and couldn't need for anything. We had deer and elk in the yard alot. We did use the grill at the cabin as we enjoyed sitting on the deck and visiting and eating, but we also enjoyed Ed's Cantina, Smokin Dave's BBQ, and Mountain Strong a few different times too. We all enjoyed some hiking at Bear Lake, and Sprague Lake, we rented some four wheelers, played putt-putt, batting cages, bumper boats, enjoyed the snow at the Alpine Visitors Center and went across to the Grand Lake side a couple of times and saw a total of 27 moose, some with their babies. We did this all in four days, and we didn't feel rushed about doing any of this. We had came out for our 40th anniversary along with our 3 adult kids and their better halves. (We have no grandkids yet, but the cabin does have a neat place for kids too!) As when our kids were younger most of the time we came to Estes Park for our vacations, so I was a little worried as adults if they would enjoy this vacation, BUT...the talk already was to come back in a couple of years and work the date around to make sure we get to stay in this cabin.

Linda did a awesome job with all my questions before we even got there. We plan to stay again at this cabin, couldn't ask for anything better with the cabin it's self, the view, and anything anyone would want to do in the area. And the price was very affordable. Thanks again for all the memories and fun that were made, The Wright Crew!

Honeymoon in the Rockies

  • 5 of 5

Snow greeted us upon our arrival and it lasted for three days. Living in the deep south, we do not have the opportunity to see much snow so we truly enjoyed the weather. It did not deter us from enjoying our stay. The cabin was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. Very clean, well decorated and the views are great. The cabin location is perfect, overlooking Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park is a short drive away. The abundance of wildlife was incredible, several elk greeted us in the driveway more than once in the morning hours. The cabin did not have a crowded feel although there were many cabins located around it. Secluded, cozy and all the privacy we needed. We searched extensively online for the right cabin to spend our honeymoon and we made the perfect choice. Truly enjoyed everything Colorado had to offer, we plan to visit again in the future, and if available, this cabin will be at the top of the list.

Spectacular Views - A Marvelous Winter Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We arrived in the midst of a snowstorm that left about 10 inches of fresh snow on the ground. Views were rather limited upon our arrival, but we knew we had climbed and arrived high on a hill. We settled into Linda's Mountain Home and enjoyed the quality and rustic theme of the well appointed furnishings. We enjoyed the natural gas fireplace during the cold evenings and were very pleased to find a very well stocked home. The bathrooms were clean and orderly. Appliances were relatively new and all in good working condition.

The weather improved during our stay to provide us with a typical cloudless Colorado sky with views from the home that were spectacular. The proximity to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park was ideal since we spent a good deal of time in those two locations. The Park is a less crowded and more relaxed in the winter. It was a joy to visit the park after a fresh snowfall.

This home isn't for some with physical limitations as there are three flights of stairs down from the driveway to the entry of the house. We didn't mind the stairs and found the multiple decks along the way each provided its own unique outdoor setting. This is a wonderful home for a get together of family and friends and is well equipped to handle such a get together.

This is a property that we truly enjoyed and one that we hope we will visit again in the future.

Wonderful home and so convenient!

  • 5 of 5

This beautifully updated house is perfect for our group of friends. We stay here year after year for the location and ambience of the home. The hot tub is s real plus after a long day of snowshoeing In RMNP. The kitchen is well equipped and access to restaurants and the Safeway is easy. This home is very well maintained and very clean.
