Wonderful stay in a beautiful cabin!

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely time at Linda's cabin. The

house is obviously very well taken care of, and we enjoyed coming home after long days of hiking. We had 6 people ranging from age 4 to age 62 and it was perfect for everyone. We cooked at home, slept well in comfortable beds, and woke up to beautiful views of the sunrise. Linda was so easy to communicate with and they stay was absolutely wonderful. We will return for sure!

Comfortable and clean with beautiful views

  • 4 of 5

We had a lovely Christmas vacation at Linda and Bob's home. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised to see the house decorated with a Christmas tree, stockings and lights. Such a nice touch when traveling over the holidays.

The house was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with an excellent set of knives, cookware and general cooking supplies. The only thing lacking was a complete set of measuring cups and spoons, but we managed by pulling out our rusty fraction skills.

The couches were comfortable to lounge on and it was a great perk that each bedroom had its own TV. The full size washer and dryer also came in handy.

The only improvement we felt the house needed was new pillows throughout the bedrooms. We all agreed they were quite flat.

Linda responded very quickly to our inquiries and was also accommodating to our requests.

A few things worth mentioning, the house is located at the top of a relatively steep hill and the driveway then slopes down to the house. There is also 3 flights of stairs to the house entry. All of these can be a bit tricky during winter months so plan accordingly. Not so much an issue during the summer.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this home to anyone looking for a quiet place to relax and unwind.

Owner's Response: Mandy, I am happy you found the home clean and comfortable. The Views are among the very best in Estes, I'm so glad you enjoyed them. It would be hard not to! They are all around. I know from my own experience that pillow comfort is a very personal thing and I try to have a variety available. I constantly check items to change out, repair, or replace. I had checked kitchen items before I left for Thanksgiving with family and all were there, but they get taken off the rings and I am constantly putting the set back together. I had ordered a few new thing for the home that arrived after I left for the holidays including stainless mixing bowls, measuring cups ( not because anything was missing, but just because they were so nice and prettier than the ones at the home, haha!) and some new pillows. I will be sure to replace as soon as I get back. Just one flight of stairs down and you can go into the house at the upper French doors. Two flights into the kitchen and main living area. There aren’t three, but yes there are stairs as stated in the listing and also pictures. The home is built into the side of the mountain. You don’t need to travel the steep hill to the home. There are 3 streets, side by side, and 2 that are not steep that go through, but maybe your GPS took you that particular way. The steep hill you mention is also designated a “Snow Route” ,and is asphalt, so in all of my years i have only seen it immaculately maintained. People live on the hill and their driveways turn in to their homes from this same street. This is in the older neighborhood you go through to get to the newer homes toward the higher part of the mountain. The driveway is sloped, but haven’t ever had any issues in 10 years, and should there be snow I do have private snow removal that is automatically done. I am happy you enjoyed your Christmas in the home and do hope you can come back in the future!

Spacious and well positioned. Wanted for nothing.

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful Spacious cabin in the hills surrounding Estes Park township. The Cabin was stocked with everything you could possibly need for a pleasant stay. Saw quite a few deer nearby, and on the first night my wife peered out of the window to see what appeared to be a mountain lion or cougar walking down through the snowy incline. Three televisions so no arguments about what we would watch. The hot tub was also a bonus even though the snow was packed around us. Close to town. A large Safeway’s allowed us to cook our own meals and save a bit of money. Would certainly recommend this place.

Amazing views and plenty of space

  • 5 of 5

This house has a great view of the Stanley Hotel and Estes Park. The location is great as you are only minutes from town or RMNP yet you hear no traffic noise. The decks and porches are great for relaxing and watching wildlife. We saw elk, mule deer and a bear all on the property of this house.

This house has plenty of room and privacy if needed. One thing we were looking for was a house that 7 adults could sit together for meals and this house delivered. We grilled steaks, pork chops, burgers and had room in the kitchen for all to help. This kitchen is fully equipped, the appliances are all in great working condition and having 2 refrigerators was a plus too.

My adult kids are wanting to plan another trip as long as we stay here!
