12 of us stayed here for the weekend. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it. The property is very tastefully decorated and is immaculate. Absolutely perfect for a large group. A lovely setting too!
Brilliant property with spacious bedrooms 7 out of 9 with ensuite and lovely open plan living space.
Vic, Rachel and Oliver couldn't have done more for us, so welcoming and accommodating. Thank you. Staying again in February for my Wedding and I cannot wait.
Having searched far and wide for quite some time we had booked the Milking Parlour Grande in January for 4 nights at Christmas. We were not disappointed and found all our various requirements fulfilled. The overall standard of all the rooms (bedrooms/bathrooms/living areas) was uniformly high. Whenever we needed any help this materialized as soon as it was requested. Plenty of outside space too which will be delightful in the summer.
This was something of an experiment for us but with a growing number of participants we will be returning.
There was an issue with the heating but Vic dealt with it efficiently
Very clean and tidy, lounge is fantastic
Tv has full sky package and wifi
Can't think of anything to complain about
A group 26 of us (ranging from age 2 to 70!) stayed here last weekend..... and what a stay we had!!!
Nothing was too much trouble for neither Vic nor Rachel, both before & during our stay. The property itself was immaculately clean & tidy and was equipped with everything we could have needed.
The Sunday morning "animal feeding" with Farmer Vic was wonderful!! The kids (& indeed a few adults!) loved it! He was so kind & patient with our mix of enthusiastic & unenthusiastic mini farmers!!!!!!
All in all we had a wonderful weekend in a wonderful location........... oh and we found some great local pubs too!
We rented the Milking Parlour Grande as a group of friends wanting somewhere to have a weekend away together, and it didn't disappoint. Farmer Vic was there to greet myself and my partner on arrival and gave us a warm welcome and a full tour of the property, before 'getting out of our hair' unless we needed him - which we didn't, as our stay at the property was exceptional.
The main room was large enough to have a couple of groups of people using the main table whilst others relaxed on the sofas without anyone tripping over each other, and if anyone wanted some quiet time, they could retreat to their hotel-like en-suite bedroom and watch TV. The kitchen was more than adequately outfitted to cook a large roast dinner on the Sunday, and the huge US-style fridge freezer with its own ice machine was a particular highlight for some of our friends! Those who weren't so easily won over had their minds changed when they saw the petting zoo.
Overall our stay was very comfortable, and everyone who attended left happy with the weekend. I was nagged a few times about when we would be staying there again - before we'd even left!
