This studio apartment provides a gracious first floor loft space in the VERY centre of Brighton - just inside Kemptown, only a street away from the seaside, two minutes from the Brighton Pier, the Lanes, & the Pavilion.

Furnished in an eclectic retro style, wherever you look, you will lay your eyes upon something either playful or beautiful.

You have to have a sense of style as well as humour to enjoy this flat, but it provides everything you need for your visit to Brighton - full, albeit compact kitchen, double bed, shower room and ideal location.

We really enjoyed our stay in Studio Loft Apartment in Kemptown.

The property was very comfortable providing all we needed for our four night stay in Brighton.

We were so close to all we had planned to see of interest including the Pavillion the Lanes and the seafront.

The property is quirky which added to our very enjoyable stay .

We did find it difficult to tune in the tv without a remote control or booklet to give us instructions. We had to press buttons on the side.

The grill pan in the oven had not been cleaned.

These are only minor but I thought may be helpful to you

We would certainly recommend your lovely apartment and it helped to make our stay in Brighton very special.

Great apartment, although scaffolding and construction outside window

the apartment inside was great, clean and tidy and furnished beautifully. the only problem was that there was scaffolding up on the building right outside the window which i was not told about before my arrival, and meant we had to have the curtains closed all the time. the noise was minimal for most of the weekend apart from 8am monday morning from which i was rudely awakened by loud hammering.

i would still definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends, as it was a lovely apartment and perfect distance from town.

Owner's Response: Oh, I am so sorry about the scaffolding and the noise. It went up after the cleaners had been there and no one informed the owners that it was going to happen! In the end, it was a good purpose, in that they were refurbishing the outside of the building, but what a shame that we could no have warned you! a very clean apartment in an ideal situation.

Bigger than expected. Very conveniently situated for bats and shops. No BBC channels on TV. Strange there are of forks and spoons but only two knives. We would happily stay in the flat again.

Unique quirky with all the bits you need!

we expected a "quirky, unusual and unique" experience, and it suited us well...enough of a kitchen to do whatever, good oven, handy micro wave...and instant hot water too. would need an extra pan to do a dinner, but one pan and fry up or salad meals etc just fine. Shower was good and hot, easy to use..but as warned we did need to pay attention to the door, so we didnt accidently push it open and flood the floor. No probs. The party people smoking downstairs from the club sometimes left a mess......but someone obviously sweeps them up-may be a sand bucket might work? I'd also like a bolt on the flat door, just because i feel more secure that way, as communal entrance door felt a bit light-weight...but really, we had fun (got to like music thru night, as, pretty obviously, it is right in the centre of things) the sea was nearby, bed was comfy, loved bedding, fresh fragrant oils ever so slightly in the air, just right. Thanks so much-oh, and for communicating so brilliantly with me when i had questions, like is there an iron, hairdryer etc etc (there was!!) Thanks so much a I would definately love to come again and hope to soon. I can see why you like it!

Owner's Response: Thank you for this sweet and honest review. I just visited the flat after you left, Jo and saw that the pans had gone missing, so I picked up a couple - a small frying pan and a larger sauce pan. I can't do anything about bolting the door, because so many previous guests had trouble with the stronger locks, so we took them off. Luckily, no matter how wild and crazy the scene is there in Kemptown, there is very little crime and no one has ever tried anything funny on any of our guests! I hope you can return. Laura

Naturally, I expect my guests to respect the Flower shop downstairs and to adore the flat and to leave it in the condition they found it: Your Deposit is a Damage Deposit and includes extra cleaning costs. Please: Do your washing and put everything away. Empty your goodies from the fridge and take your recycling and rubbish to the bins outside. Leave the apartment tidy, so my staff, Andy and Debs, do not complain about you!
That's all I ask.

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
