Saint-Jean-d'Aulps Chalet Rental Photos and Description

This Beautiful Chalet has 6 Luxurious Bedrooms all with ensuite Bathrooms.

Chalet 'Fleur d'Aulps' is a beautiful traditional alpine farmhouse dating from 1796. The building was converted to a ski chalet with care and respect for its history, and has recently undergone a luxurious renovation.

The Chalet has 6 well-appointed bedrooms with beautifully equipped ensuites. The two Suite style Master bedrooms both have Baths and Showers. Master bedrooms also have televisions.

Downstairs there is a fabulous open plan living area featuring a central open fire and snug area to sit and read or play chess! Two 3 metre windows create a picture onto the Forest opposite the house giving a real feel of bringing the outside in. The trees are back lit by a flood light which creates a fabulous view at night.

The cosy kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a self catered Holiday with all new modern appliances and the main feature of an Aga (3 ovens).The large table easily seats 12 people. Dishwasher, large refrigerator. There is also a Laundry/Store room with washing machine and Tumble dryer, additional fridge and lots of storage space.

There is a spacious sauna room which features another Bathroom with both bath tub and shower for your convenience and a separate toilet. There is lots of ski and boot storage in the hallway upstairs and a further hallway downstairs.

Outside there is a large south-facing terrace of nearly 300 sq.m. with a large stone fire pit, hot tub, and spectacular views of the valley and mountains. Wifi, satellite TV, DVD & video are available. Washing machine & dryer are available. Parking site for 6 cars outside the chalet. The chalet is secluded and near a river which can be heard when the windows are open. Access in winter may require snow tyres, 4x4 or chains. A truly beautiful Chalet to have the perfect vacation.

Great to get away early in the year and was not disappointed with the apartment or the complex. Altinkum has got everything would want for your holiday and everybody is so friendly and helpful.

The apartment has got everything in it and is modern and spacious,we are looking at going again later in the year.

We had a great holiday in the chalet. It was well equipped, comfortable and well appointed with en suite bathrooms to each bedroom. The hot tub was warm and delightful and we spent many evenings admiring the night skies and forest canopy. A great choice for families and groups.

Fantastic Summer Visit

The property is located at the end of a farm track, with an outlook over a forrest leading down to the river below. All the bedrooms and public areas were nicely decorated to a very high standard. The kitchen had everything you could have asked for and more. The deck area is fantastic and includes outdoor tables, seating, deck chairs, Jacuzzi and BBQ area.

The St Jean lift station is a 3 or 4 minute drive up the hill (open on a Thursday in the summer) and the town is a similar distance down the hill. Morzine is approx 12 minutes away by car. The town has two boulangerie's a mini market and just outside of town you will find the main supermarket.

So much so see and do in the area during the summer and all very accessible from the Chalet. Highly recommended.

Chalet Fleur is a stunning well equipped chalet in a private, peaceful and beautiful location.

This was our second visit and the recent modifications are a lovely addition - with floodlit views to the forest.

Another fantastic week exploring the area on foot, bike and raft - we look forward to next summer!

Stunning property

Absolutely beautiful property. Spacious, superbly finished and well equipped throughout. First class check in service and speedy refund of deposit.

Huge, tastefully decorated bedrooms with oodles of space and brand new en-suites throughout. We were two families of 12 people in total and staying at Chalet Fleur made our week. Would love to return and would not consider anywhere else if this chalet was available to us.

Spacious and homely in a fantastic location.

Everything you could possibly want in property of this standard in a forest location but on the doorstep of ski slopes and village life.

Slept 12 of us easily without feeling like we filled the place. Proper en suites for all rooms, no closet toilets like some places.

Remote but not cut off, very quiet at the end of a dirt track, floodlight on forest through big picture windows was a nice touch.

Centre piece fire with glass surround and plenty of wood kept us cosy.

Would go back tomorrow!

Best ski vacation EVER

This is a incredibly beautiful chalet and property. We loved the decor and the ambiance of the chalet and surrounding ski area. It was great to come home to a cozy, relaxing home (and it felt like home) after a perfect, fun day of skiing. The beds and sheets were of the best quality, as where all the amenities at the chalet. We hired a chef (Susan) while we stayed there and she was the BEST thing we did other then rent this chalet. Lizzie and her husband could not help us enough and where there to answer all our questions but not intrude on our stay. They enhance the whole experience and make it easy and very user friendly, arranging restaurants, ski guides and anything else you might need. The skiing was FANTASTIC, lots of hills and terrain. We look forward to returning in the coming years and would HIGHLY recommend this chalet. It's home away from home.

Chalet Fleur is situated in St. Jean d'Aulps which is just is a 10 minute drive to Montriond from where you can access the whole of The Porte Du Soliel Ski Area. You ascend into Avoriaz and ski over into Switzerland! A further 5 Minutes by car takes you into Morzine and the popular ski Village with all its attractions and the Ski Areas of Morzine, Les Gets. On your door step of the chalet (500 meters) is also the smaller ski area of La Grande Terche, ideal for beginners, however it also has many red runs and the Roc Enfore Curcuit for more intermediate skiers, and a great Apres Ski scene with lots of little restaurants. Fantastic place to access the many ski areas the area has to offer. In the Summer the area turns into Europes best Mountain Biking region. Contact us about our Summer programmes. Yoga, interval training programmes, Hiking, Mountain Biking are just some of the many activities. Explore the whole area taking in Evian, Thonon, Les Bains, and Geneva. Mont Blanc and Chamonix are approximately one hour south of the chalet.

This superbly renovated (2004) charming chalet (built in 1796) is situated at the very end of a small road just 200 metres away from the lift station La Grande Terche. Morzine is just 10 minutes by car. Because of its superb location, you only hear the birds and the river below at 100 metres from the Chalet.
