Great location with beautiful river view!
We loved our stay here. Plenty of room for the six of us. Very large living/dining room with large window overlooking the river. Lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. Lorenzo responded quickly to any questions. Highly recommend!
This beautiful residence is somewhat worn out from visitors
You really can't beat this location. It's central, convenient and the view of the Duomo across the river can't be beat. The property is beautiful. We stayed for 7 nights. I'm a traveler that can usually overlook most things as long as the property is light, clean and tidy - which this was. If you can overlook the downsides, this property is five stars. However, the property amenities don't correspond with it's location. The living room furniture is very worn and the rope arms are falling apart. All the surfaces (ie the furniture and beds) are uncomfortable to sit/sleep on. We had a car and the parking was so difficult and/or expensive, we ended up parking it at the airport (because the drop off fee was more than the parking fee and taxi back). Overall, our experience was positive. There was some bad planning on our part (no car in Italy is my rule but we had small children with us). With a few upgrades (new sofas, chairs, mattresses), and a new fridge handle, this place would be a five star home. NOTE: the restaurant downstairs didn't bother us with the noise. We couldn't open the windows because the cigarette smoke would drift into the room. There was air conditioning so we didn't miss the open windows or hear the noise.
thank you , I take this positive opportunity to inform that sofas , sits, tv and fridge has been repalced with new ones.
Great location lots to f room
This House is in the Perfect Location
There were six people in our group and the house fit us all comfortably. The house is located right on the Arno River and there is a bus stop right across the street for the Public bus and the Hop on Hop Off bus. The owner was not able to meet us when we checked in or out, but he left excellent instructions for us to check in which made it simple and easy. The apartment looks just as it is pictured. It is in an older building, but it was nice. I didn't give it 5 stars because the place could use a little TLC in the kitchen and the bathrooms. Nothing too bad, but the refrigerator door handle was broken, the washer is located in the shared bathroom behind a curtain and the soap dispenser was rusted. Also the area appeared to be a little clutter which didn't make it very inviting to use it. My husband decided to walk just across the bridge to a self operated laundry to do our laundry. The shower head in the master bathroom needs to be fixed so that it will stay in the up positon. If those things are cared for this property will be perfect.
Light and Spacious
My wife, four children and I stayed here in early June 2016. We really loved the apartment, with wonderful view overlooking the Arno river. It was a great base from which to explore Florence, located by the Ponte Vecchio and so a very short walk from many of the main attractions and key areas. The kitchen was well-equipped, and so we sometimes took advantage of the opportunity to bring home provisions from the local supermarket (also very close) and enjoy a meal in the apartment. I can't recommend this accommodation highly enough. Reliable and helpful communication from the owner.
Friendly Communication, space and size.
The Central Location, the friendly communication with the owner, the space and size of the property offered excellent value.
The apartment is located in the old centre of Florence along the Arno river, few steps away from monuments such as the Old Bridge, the Uffizi Gallery, the Palazzo Pitti and the S. Croce Church. It has to be the ideal location for anyone wanting to experience both Florence and the Italian way of life. It is situated in a charming area of the centre of Florence full of restaurants and places to see. On your doorstep you'll find every kind of shop necessary for your stay.
