Utah Condo Rental Photos and Description

Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6-8)

Our other condo is VRBO #434934.

We are located in the Giant Step Condos right next to the Giant Steps chairlift on the 2nd floor of building one.

This condo is comfy and cozy and fully equipped with everything you'll need. We can accommodate 8 people with a King-size bed in the master, a Queen bed & twin bunk bed in the guest room and queen sleeper sofa in living room and there are flat screen TVs in every room. Giant Steps has a great game room, 2 spas, an underground parking garage, and dumbwaiters in all three buildings.

Whether summer or winter, Brian Head, Utah has it all.

In the winter this small mountain town has great powder skiing, a snowboard park, snowmobiling, a tubing park, which is right next to our building.

Summertime in Brian Head provides great nature hikes and mountain biking trails with some of the most magnificent overlooks nature can provide. Brian Head now has its own pond "Bristlecone Pond", that is stocked with trout, and surrounded by a walking path and picnic pads. Southern Utah is dubbed color country for its beautiful national parks. We are about an hour and a half drive to both Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. The Shakespearean Festival takes place all summer as well and is just 30 minutes away in Cedar City.

**Please note: The Resort is no longer selling the Freedom Passes, therefore we can't purchase them to offer to our renters.

About Bob & Julie Mangino

We purchased this property as a family (3 generations)to have a place to enjoy in the mountains summer and winter. Buying this vacation home has been one of the best things we've ever done, as it has created so many fond memories for our family.

The Manginos

Bob & Julie Mangino purchased this condo in 1996

Why Bob & Julie Mangino chose Utah

It's the best location on the mountain as it is right next to the main chairlift (Giant Steps) and is ski in ski out, with a new tubing park right next to our building.

What makes this condo unique

Absolutely EVERYTHING is provided, it's just like being at home.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Thank you for a stay. We had a wonderful time staying in your great condo. Our 9 year old daughter saw it snowing for the the first time.

loved it

This is our second stay at the Giant Steps Sk In/Out condo! The condo has great access to the slope, underground parking is very nice, and the complex has free firewood. The unit itself is very well furnished with everything you need. The beds are comfortable, each room has its own tv, and the living room was warm & inviting. The small outdoor balcony patio has a view to the side of the slopes/chair lift. Definitely would recommend!

Great location.

  • 5 of 5

The property was perfect for a family weekend away. The kids could sled and play in the snow right out the back door. I would definitely stay here again.

Just Great!

  • 5 of 5

We have now stayed in this very condo for the 3rd time, and as usual it was wonderful. Conveniently located within walking distance to Giant Steps, and a couple minute drive to Navajo. The only piece of advice would be to forego the wood-burning fireplace, as it requires quite a large, hot fire to create a draw, and this is difficult in such a small fireplace. It matters not, however, because the heaters work great. Thanks again and see you next year!

Great ski in/ski out condo

  • 5 of 5

We just returned from a week's stay, and it was great. Having a kitchen stocked with the proper pots/pans made mealtimes easy...having a crockpot was great! We especially liked the layout of the guest room for the kids. This is a great place to stay, and we look forward to our next trip!

Clean and convenient

  • 4 of 5

The condo was easy to find and access. Great layout and plenty of room for all of us in the group. The kitchen had everything we needed for breakfasts and the shampoo/soap dispenser in the shower was an unexpected bonus.

Perfect location

  • 5 of 5

Our family rented this condo along with three others. Julie and Bob own one of the others we rented and both condos were clean and comfortable. This condo is on the second floor. The game room was a big hit as well as the weekend summer activities just steps away. The pond and mall are easy walking distance. Our family enjoys an evening drive to Cedar Breaks for deer watching along the way. This summer we saw more bucks than we have seen in the past. We also saw some elk along with the does and fawns. Yankee Meadows is a favorite place to fish. Thanks to the owners for sharing their condos.

Cedar City is about 30 minutes away and is home to the Shakespeare Festival each summer. Brian Head is close to several scenic drives such as Cedar Breaks, Zion and Bryce. Riding an ATV is one of our favorite pastimes in Brian Head. Brian Head Resort is the premier alpine destination in the southwestern United States. Honored as a 'Top Family Getaway for Family Travelers' by the Family Travel Forum, Brian Head is a full-service resort conveniently located in southern Utah - only three hours from Las Vegas!

Brian Head is Utah's highest-elevation resort, receiving over 400 annual inches of light, Utah powder. The resort has 50+ runs for all ability levels, including an entire mountain dedicated to beginners and children. It features four terrain parks for varying ability levels, with more than 30 snow features, rails, fun boxes, and a half pipe (open when conditions permit). The Resort's lift-served Snow Tubing Park is the best in the region, with six lanes to choose from. It's like a giant frozen water slide! The Resort is located off Interstate I-15, adjacent to Utah's famous national parks. Its location has helped foster a uniquely laid-back, uncrowded atmosphere, which is seldom found at winter resorts anymore.
