About Mr and Mrs Wild

My family and I have stayed at other chalets on Sandown Bay and love it so much that when we had the opportunity to buy a chalet we jumped at it. We have been regular visitors to the island and love it and hope you will also.

Mr and Mrs Wild purchased this chalet in 2014

Why Mr and Mrs Wild chose Sandown

We picked this chalet because of the beautiful location overlooking Culver Down, and a short walk brings you to the cliffs and sea

What makes this chalet unique

Early morning sunshine easy parking, beautiful location

So lovely to arrive to a spotlessly clean chalet, the beds so comfortable and all the equipment inside good quality nothing was needed during our stay. Even cooked a roast dinner everything was there..Inc sharp knives! The location on site was fantastic clear views across to culvert down I think this must be the best chalet on the site.. loved it all so a big thank you x

Well equipped chalet

  • 5 of 5

Very well equipped chalet, we didnt have to buy the usual things you always have to buy, was very suprised to see the owners had left us a welcome basket and card which was a lovely touch and also lots of toiletries, the chalet is well positioned with a lovely view of fields and plenty of space outside the front of the chalet for the kids to play safely, the beach is within walking distance which is only just a walk down the hill. We love the Isle of Wight and will be back.

Beautiful chalet

  • 4 of 5

We found the chalet to be home from home and more. Lovely welcome gift and spotlessly clean. You wouldn't know dogs are allowed to stay. Arriving on site, it looks a bit dated and worn but the chalet is absolutely wonderful and we had a great time.

Owner's Response: Sadly the site clubhouse has been neglected, but we are promised by the new site owners that there should be significant improvements to this building and the site for the 2018 season.

Lovely comfy chalet in great location

  • 4 of 5

We have just got back from a wonderful week at this chalet in Sandown. The perfect base to explore the island with beaches, coastal walks and even a zoo on our doorstep! The chalet is extremely well equipped with comfortable beds and good facilities in the kitchen (we have stayed in places before with hardly anything to cook with which is always a pain!). Owners very helpful and had left lots of info about all the things to do. We thoroughly enjoyed our week on the Isle and hope to be back.
