There is a lot to love at this beautiful two bedroom condominium located in the family friendly Shipwatch complex. Shipwatch at Wild Dunes Resort is a wonderful community, and features many outstanding amenities. “Beach Walker” is directly across from one of the most desirable amenities at the Resort, the Shipwatch swimming complex. Featuring one of the largest pools on the island, a children’s pool and a travertine tile surface, the Shipwatch swimming complex is one of the best. Other features offered at Shipwatch include a beach gazebo with an observation deck, manicured lawns, and one of only two playgrounds featured within Wild Dunes Resort. Only while staying at Shipwatch your children can swing or play on a teeter totter as you look out towards the Atlantic.
“Beach Walker” was professionally decorated to be an ideal vacation destination for your family for years. The private balcony overlooks the swimming complex, and also provides ocean peaks. The gourmet kitchen is perfect for putting together a meal of fresh seafood that you may purchase from the docks on Shem Creek within ten miles of “Beach Walker”. The living room is very comfortable with oversize sofa and seating. The master bedroom features a queen bed with beautiful bedding, and bright light from the sliding glass doors taking you out to the balcony. Double doors open up to a spacious master bathroom. The guest bedroom is perfect for the kids with two twin beds and private bath.
Two other great features of “Beach Walker” are that the internet service has been upgraded to provide faster access to the web as well as complimentary long distance service. There is a lot to love at “Beach Walker”, and we look forward to welcoming you and your family to this amazing condominium.

Cleanest condo ever stayed in with fantastic view and beach access
We loved this condo from the moment we walked in. I tend to be hard to please, but this condo did not smell musty and was extremely clean and beautiful. Easy access to the beach, amazing view of pool and ocean view, and all the amenities. I would stay here again many times over. The price for late fall and winter is far more affordable and you get more than you would expect. Ask locals for great dining on the island. Everything you need is really closer than you think. Awesome stay!
Shipwatch - Bldg C
The condo was decorated lovely and was very neat and clean. The grounds and property are also well maintained. There is a little mildew growing on the ceiling of the master shower, but the rest of the shower was very clean, so I'm sure someone will take care of that. I only had a few items that made my stay a little taxing. I didn't know that I no longer had to get a pool pass. That information would have been helpful. I had a 13 hour drive to get to this property as I live in Pennsylvania. I didn't arrive until 10pm. So, the last thing I wanted to do the next morning was drive all the way back to the realty office to pick up a pool pass only to find out that I didn't need one. That was a little irritating. Why can't pool passes either be given with the arrival packet and left at the property if needed? And if not needed, why can't a note be left on the counter so that you know you don't have to go get one. It's already a gated community. Also, Uber will not come to Wild Dunes. I realize this is not the property's fault, however, it would be nice if there was some kind of shuttle service to Charleston since this is the case so that you can go out in the City for dinner and drinks and not have to worry about a driver. It would also be nice if the ice maker could be turned on just before the cleaning staff leaves when your accommodation is ready so that ice is available upon arrival. As I said, my drive took me 13 hours. A cold beverage upon arrival would have been very nice.
Beautiful condo. I would stay again!
Overall a great stay!

Condo was the best I have stayed in. Pool was fantastic! Beach was great! One of the best vacations I have ever had.
Greg, thank you so much for the rave review! No better feedback than hearing it was one of your best vacations. Please come see us again soon!
Overall a great value and rental!
The condo was in a secure and great location. The only issues we had was that the cookware was in bad shape and hard to cook with, the broom and vacuum were almost unusable, and lastly the master bed was somewhat uncomfortable.
Thank you for your review. We appreciate getting feedback from our guests, and we will take these issues into consideration. Hope to see you again soon.
Isle of Palms Condo Shipwatch Development
Very nice property. Clean, modern and great location. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. Note: there are no food condiments included. Even though it was a high-rise, I had no problems with noise. Double sink in master bath was nice to have. Bedding was nice but could have had better pillows (I prefer feather). Even though property is at the end of development, traffic was never an issue. 10-15 minutes to get off island or to Sullivan Island. Note: smaller pool pictured is a toddler pool not a jacuzzi. Definitely would stay here again. Had a great time.
