Moscow Cabin Rental Photos and Description

4 bedrooms 2 full bathrooms sleeps a maximum of 10 people

Looking for an outdoor adventure? This cabin is located just 3 miles from North Country Rivers. They are the answer to your outdoor dreams. They guide rafting trips, rent ATV's, Snowmobiles, run moose watching tours, and have a great restaurant. If you plan on rafting, they will help you choose exactly what level of rafting adventure suits you, and which of three rivers you would enjoy most. For a real thrill, plan your trip during one of the dam release dates, which double the flow of the river.

ATV, and snowmobile riding is also great in this area. If you don't own one, you can always rent from North Country. The well maintained and extensive trail systems can be accessed right from our cabin.

The Wyman dam tailwater, minutes from our cabin offers great fishing. It holds brookies, browns, wild rainbows, salmon and togue. If you are looking for something a bit more relaxing, canoe one of the many remote ponds in the area, or just relax and enjoy the great north wood scenery.

Snowmobiling details: Snowmobiling here is an endless exploration of hundreds of miles of well groomed trails. Ride to Moosehead lake, Rangeley lake, Jackman, or so many other destinations which are all part of the great ITS trail system of Maine. You can ride right from the door step of this cabin and get on the ITS trails. Snowmobile rentals can be arranged through Sunrise Ridge Outfitters just up the road if needed. Come up and experience the amazing thrill of riding a snow machine in this beautiful unspoiled country.

Whitewater Rafting details: This area is so popular with rafters because of the daily dam releases April through October. Rapids of class 2-5 can be experienced on the kennebec during these releases. There are turbine test release dates that bring out the most daring of rafters. These dates are pre planned, so check the schedule, and book early.

We stayed here a few years back in the month of December. The property was clean, kitchen had all the supplies we needed and it was quiet. We were able to bring our yellow lab to romp around in the snow. We drove to Moxie Falls and snowshoed on miles of untouched snow. Great place to unplug, relax and be with the ones you love. I would love to go back in the late Summer/ Early Fall. Make sure to sign the guest book!

The description of this cabin couldn't be more accurate! It is beautiful, fully equipped with everything one could ever need, very clean and very spacious! Our family (6 adults, 5 kids and our dog) had plenty of room. The whole cabin just felt cozy!

We brought 4 snowmobiles and 3 vehicles (lots of parking even with snow taking up a lot of the driveway) and were able to hit the trails every day we were there. It was a breeze getting to the trails right from the cabin, just a quick drive down the road and on we went for hours!

The owners are so very helpful, they responded within a few hours of receiving my email, and were so pleasant to talk to on the phone. They gave us many helpful hints and were very easy going about our dog (the only requests were to clean up after her and to cover the furniture).

We had an absolutely wonderful time and can't wait to go back again!

Quiet little gem in Maine's mountains

  • 4 of 5

Arrived to a clean, cozy, and wonderfully stocked cabin! We came to snowmobile and had PLENTY of snow with easy access to Maines ITS trails. The owners were great in getting back to us with our questions. A quiet little gem in the mountains! Would definitely go back!

Great Area for ATV Trips! Cabin is Extremely Nice!

We came up to Bingham Maine from Massachusetts to ride our atvs on the large trail system that you can access right behind this cabin! We had an amazing time riding over 220 miles in just two days on the trails. The owners are very helpful and easy to contact right through email. They will respond right away and help you with all your questions! Overall an excellent cabin, and vacation we had, and we are already planning on coming back soon!!!

Family from PA Atving Trip

  • 5 of 5

After much searching online for a place that could accommodate our large family I found this property. It was everything the owner said and then some. Very clean and neat, you really don't need to take anything with you but clothes, towels, and your food. We had an amazing time while in Maine, the cabin is secluded enough but close enough to reality. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Can't say enough about Kathy, she was so friendly, helped us with direction as to where to go to ride our quads and hit the trails and where to get fuel. The cabin is very homey, a cozy atmosphere, decorated very woodsy but elegantly at the same time. Every appliance is rather new and all in great working order. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a great place at a great price. The upper level had 2 rooms, one with 2 twins beds and one with 4 twins beds which was wonderful for adults and the children alike. The two downstairs bedrooms have one queen and the other a full size bed with plenty of room in each room. Great place and would love to return someday.

Highly Recommend

This great 4 Season cabin was just completed on 11/10/07. It is presently well equipped, and we will continue to make improvements to the cabin and property. It seems to have just the right feel of seclusion, yet has all the conveniences, and is perfectly located to many outdoor activities. Just a short trip gets you into the vast north woods. An outdoor enthusiasts dream come true. The scenery is breathtaking with mountain views to the northwest. Wyman lake, just minutes away was featured on the Maine foliage website last year.

A half hour drive to the north, will get you to Maines highest single drop waterfall (Moxie Falls). A half hour drive in the southerly direction affords shopping opportunities, and also golfing at Lakewood golf course.

A unique advantage to renting this cabin, is that just down the road is the Sunrise Ridge Guide service which offers many activities.

Easy day trips of about 1hour can also get you to Moosehead Lake, Rangeley, and sugarloaf ski area

Other Activities: Snowmobiling,Whitewater Rafting,Rock Climbing
