Beautifully Appointed 1876 country house with sweeping lawns and an expansive, enclosed bluestone patio that is perfect for BBQs or roasting s'mores in the fire pit.

The house itself is spacious & loaded with charm. The kitchen is well-equipped with a butler's pantry formal dining room that seats 12 and overlooks the landscaped garden. A screened-in porch overlooks the lawns in front of the house. The large living room features a dramatic wood-burning fireplace, flat screen TV and comfortable seating. Great house with an abundance of charm!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed the weekend at this great Woodstock home. Though the weather wasn't great, we really enjoyed spending quality time together and especially enjoyed the game room. We will definitely return and hope to spend more time exploring the area.

Fantastic home with lots to offer

  • 5 of 5

Jim was a wonderful host and very responsive. The house and property are even better than the pictures. The house was roomy and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. The game room barn was ridiculous! We had many hours of fun in there. The hot tub was great after spending the day skiing at Hunter. The house is also only a few miles away from the world’s largest kaleidoscope...a definite plus for Roadside America enthusiasts and people that love cheesy tourist destinations like me!

Beautiful well kept house and property.

  • 5 of 5

Spent the weekend up in Woodstock and stayed in Jim’s house. The house was very well kept, had many amenities and was an overall pleasure to stay in.

Would stay there again without a second thought.

Great Stay!

  • 5 of 5

What a great weekend! Our host was very helpful and attentive. The place was in a beautiful area of woodstock, right near a choice of two mountains for skiing, snowboarding and tubing. The game room in the house was better than pictures.. We will be back!

Great house!

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed at Jim's house with 2 other couples. Everyone loved the house. It was pretty, cozy and very warm throughout. So many extras to the house we encountered and were pleasantly surprised by. We loved all the details Jim has put in the 2 floor game room, and it was a huge plus to have since it was too windy and cold to go skiing. We were like kids playing all day. We had our pups with us too, and the yard was big and well enclosed, so we didn't even have to go out. My favorite was sitting by the fireplace with a big variety of movies and shows to watch. Living room much cozier than appears in photos.

Slice of heaven

  • 5 of 5

It snowed on Christmas eve! Not sure that was something the owners conjured for us...but with all they have done to create this magical place--I wouldn't be surprised! A Christmas tree awaited us the day we arrived and we couldn't have been more cozy and warm even as the temperature dipped below zero. We hiked the beautiful trails behind the house, sat in the hot tub under the stars and challenged each other to every game in the truly amazing barn. The rooms and beds were comfortable and the house was clean and well stocked. We served meals in both the beautiful dining room as well as at the sweet kitchen table. I cannot say enough about this place. We would love to come back in warmer weather to make use of the pool and to see the beautiful view in green instead of sparkling white!
