Capo Comino is a town in the municipality of Siniscola (NU), in the north-eastern coast of Sardinia; is the extreme east of the island, at the end of the Gulf of Orosei.
Owes its fame to the long white and fine grain sand beach, behind which are the largest dunes on the east coast of Sardinia; south, the landscape changes, presenting a rocky coast to the east end where the lighthouse is located near the head of which is named the entire area.
The area is of great interest and the beaches, the sea bed and crystal clear water make it a popular tourist attraction, despite the presence of leaves of Posidonia beached; just the perfect preservation of the dune system has made the wild scenery ideal for the setting for several films
A few hundred meters from the coast are the remains of a Roman fleet during the period of Nero, which was destroyed by a storm.
Other wrecks in these waters are the ship Commander Bafile, sank in 1942 while sailing from Civitavecchia to Cagliari, and a small fighter plane, a Vought F4U Corsair, sunk further offshore in June 1963 perhaps because of a failure , and dragged towards the beach from the nets of a fishing boat
I was born in Nuoro in 83 and for about a year I live in Capo Comino, was a very difficult choice because in winter the town is deserted, but summing up a year are very happy, quiet nature relax and zero stress! I am an electronic & computer technician freelance, and in my free time I dedicate to the maintenance of the house and the garden, are fond of electronic music, I started DJing in 1998 and in 2000 in the biggest club in Sardinia offering music and Trance Progressive, a few years ago I stopped a bit and I just small themed evenings close to home since the genre is not available to everyone, I have a small service audio video lights with which I mostly light and laser show, are passionate about English football and super fan of manchester united, I have two very good German shepherds, are called Ciccio and Sissi and 3 cats Brina Leon and Ringo.
Luigi Pilo purchased this apartment in 1983
