House & Grounds: The Logis du Puy is set within 3/4 of an acre of beautiful grounds with olive and fruit trees, and many ornamental shrubs and flowers. there is a path from the house that takes you to Fayence or Tourrettes village in 3mins.

Both the main house and nearby cottage 10 metres away have benefited from extensive recent renovation to an extremely high standard, and offer truly comfortable accommodation for 8 to 10 people.

The pool and adjacent sunbathing patio are not overlooked and provide total privacy, whilst the house and terraced gardens offer panoramic views over the surrounding countryside.

In 2009 the Sunset BAR was added at the far end of the swimming pool decking nestled between the cliff and a 300 year old Olive tree, fully equipped with fridge wine racks lighting and several stools, aptly named for the great sunsets.

BBQ area: A stunning feature of the Logis is the summer dining area, adjoining the house. Offering seating for 12 people around a hand-crafted Bourgogne stone table, and shaded by a 40-foot palm tree, a BBQ here is a fantastic way to relax in the glorious countryside.

This area also boasts a delightful covered seating area, for intimate evenings together, whatever the time of year.

Why Jez or Pam Barkley chose Fayence

We saw Logis du Puy and it was instantly love at first site, luckily we were the 3rd people to view the property and within a week we had bought it, checkout the reviews for everyone else's thoughts.

What makes this villa unique

The property is very private not overlooked but only a 3 minute walk to the Village of Fayence and Tourrettes via a private path. The hilltop villages in this area are some of the most beautiful in Europe all with their own special character, Fayence dates back to the 12 century and is the king of them all.

Beautiful House and beautiful place

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from a 2 week break and would recommend to anyone taking a look to get it booked! The house is simply beautiful, equipped with everything you could ever need. The pool is amazing, and with those views we really found it hard to drag ourselves away. The cottage is also lovely and along with the house provided ample room for all 8 of us. We absolutely fell in love with Fayence, the people were so friendly, the place is beautiful and the views are stunning. My husband and I even found ourselves looking in the estate agents! If you are lucky enough to rent the house and you have children then I would recommend a visit to Lac De Saint-Cassein. It is a huge lake with paddle boarding and peddalos to rent, we spent a lovely morning there and also returned later in the holiday. Pam and Jez, thank you so much, we loved every minute and hope to be back sometime.

Lovely house for family holiday, French style

  • 5 of 5

Main house as described in advert. Comfortable, clean, old french style, tasteful. Annexe building smaller, less chic but self contained and and in our case perfect for the youngsters. As two families, we separated adults in main house, youngsters in the annexe (ours are not young children) so they had their own showers, music etc ! Wonderful views from the pool and patio and excellent location in terms of feeling relaxed in the countryside but only a short rural walk to the village. (Would just say that the pool and steps are not ideal for toddlers, although could be managed). Traditional boulangerie just 10 mins on foot there and back for fresh croissants each morning, and a relaxed stroll in the evening to one of the several eateries in the village. Range of restaurants/price levels, and we had very good experiences at each one. Home made ice-cream in one of the little shops in the village made a nice afternoon walk too. Several big supermarkets a short drive away and smaller co-op type shop in village. Easy drive to the beautiful lakes with sailing/water activities. Drove to Cannes, Monaco and local water park as day-trips. Lovely holiday, hope to return.

Wonderful authentic house with a stunning view

  • 5 of 5

We (2 families with 6 kids) had a wonderful stay at this authentic house with a stunning view over the Provence.

The house got everything you need with a well-equipped kitchen a lovely pool area etc.

There are various small spots on the property where you can get some alone time and if you travel 2 families one can stay in the main house and the other in the nice cottage - perfect :-)

The terraces have the most cosy lights in the evening.

The stroll to the city was easy and handy with small kids :-)

We had daily trips to Gorges Verdon, Frejus and Saint Cassin Lake, which we would highly recommend all others to do too...

Pam & Jez always accessible on phone/mail and very helpful.

Isabelle gave us a warm welcome and came checking all was good during the stay, which was highly appreciated.

Pam, Isabelle and Jez; your hospitality suits the beautiful house - and the other way around :-)

Thanks a lot for giving us the opportunity to experience your property:-)

Best regards 2 families from DK

Perfect secluded getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed as a group of friends and had a brilliant time. Isabelle, who looks after the property, made us feel very welcome (helped by a surprise in the fridge from Pam!). The house has buckets of old world charm and a stunning view. Fayence and Tourette's are minutes away on foot, the lake is a few minutes in the car, the surrounding towns are beautiful and sleepy. Couldn't recommend the place or the owners (who were very helpful in the run up to our stay) more. Will definitely be returning in the future.

Perfect Provençal vacation destination

  • 5 of 5

If you are looking for a location to spend a relaxed vacation where you can enjoy the tranquility of a quaint Provençal village, with easy access to the Gorges du Verdon and the hustle and bustle of the Côte d’Azur, your search is over. Logis du Puy, on the border of Fayence and Tourettes, is the perfect place to be swept away by the magnificent views of the Provence, while savoring the croissants you just bought on your 5 minute walk to the local boulangerie. You could also be indulging on a fabulous bottle of wine, fresh baguette and amazing olive tapenade from the local market, which is held thrice weekly on the church square in Fayence.

Jez and Pam have done an amazing job by turning a beautiful old Provençal stone house into the perfect place to enjoy the good life. My family and I stayed at Logis du Puy with 4 adults and 4 young children and could not have asked for a better vacation. The main house and adjoining cottage can easily accommodate 10 people. The property is superbly maintained with comfortable beds, multiple bathrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor seating and dining arrangements, including all the tasteful outdoor lighting, are endless. The pool and surrounding deck is the perfect place to cool down and a highlight for children of all ages. The house is not air-conditioned, which is not necessary due to the dry climate and cool nights.

We have nothing but the absolute best to say about Logis du Puy. If Jez and Pam's description of their property sounds appealing to you, search no longer. You will not be disappointed.

An absolutely beautiful villa, nestled on the edge of Fayence

  • 5 of 5

We have just had the most perfect week staying here. We were two families staying together with 4 young children and enjoyed every moment, we were so sad to leave. Our villa was like a home away from home, the kitchen was better stocked than mine at home! Every part of the property felt like it had been well thought out, from catching the first sun in the breakfast area to enjoying sun downers at the bar in the evening. We are usually pretty adventurous families and love to explore the local area but we found it hard to drag ourselves away from the pool with the most amazing view! Fayence and Tourettes have fab restaurants and are lovely places to wander around. Would highly recommend as one of the nicest villas we've ever stayed at and really hope we get a chance to go back again some day.
