About Linda and Tom Knapp

Tom and Linda have had self-catering accommodation attached to their homes for nearly 40 years. Our first venture into holiday accommodation was a farmhouse called Clayhanger in Dorset. We moved to south-west France and had two gites for 20 years which we thoroughly enjoyed running. We have now returned to Dorset and have extended our bungalow with a one bedroom apartment, close to the beach. We enjoy having visitors and are usually available for any enquiries.

Linda and Tom Knapp purchased this apartment in 1991

Why Linda and Tom Knapp chose Burton Bradstock

While we were in France we needed a base in Dorset so that we could come home in the winter. We let the bungalow to holiday makers during the summer so that other people could enjoy this beautiful region.

What makes this apartment unique

We love living near to the sea and enjoy sharing the location with our visitors. We have many return bookings and have made many friends.

We had a very pleasant week with our golden retriever staying at Tom and Linda's apartment. Five minutes from the beach and the Hive restaurant, a short stroll to pub and so close to Bridport and other Dorset attractions.

Thanks again,

Anne and Ian

Absolutely fantastic!!! Tom & Linda have been

most hospitable, especially with our Patterdale dog 'Dylan' who greeted them every morning!!!

' Happy Yappy Dilly'

We will definitely be coming back next year ! So, close to the beach too, where dogs are allowed all year round .

The garden and patio is lovely too, with an abundance of fresh tomatoes & raspberries for breakfast & supper !!!

Lovely relaxing week.

super cosy little retreat near the beach

  • 5 of 5

This comfortable little retreat was an ideal place for early morning cliff top walks and evening beach strolls, The Hive Café was great - delicious well presented food and the village pubs were super and a 10min walk away. The local area had plenty to see and do with for all types of people - the fossils and geology were excellent and well worth seeing. We had a great stay and Tom and Lynda the home owners) were extremely hospitable.
