This is a fantastic place to stay. The apartment is large, beautifully decorated..we spent a week and it made for a wonderful home. Location is superb..1 minute walk to the gate of Old Siena..you can't drive any closer without entering the restricted ZTL. We had a car and gated parking is available outside your door. Nice forday trips and explore Tuscany. Anna and her family are wonderful and we enjoyed being their guests.
I stayed for 5 nights in this lovely apartment. The location can't be beat. But the apartment itself made my stay! The owner is very friendly and welcoming and the apartment felt so homey. I felt more like a guest in someone's home than a renter. It is filled with antiques, artwork and history and just made for a much different experience than I've done in the past. It is very spacious (I didn't even go in to many rooms), clean, and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. I would stay again and definitely recommend.
This is a wonderful apartment and I would recommend it highly. Everything worked and was well stocked and equipped. As is common in Italy, I discovered, the thick walls prevent excellent wifi service. My only minor complaint is that it was somewhat dark and cold. for my tastes for the end of May. It appears to be used by the family owners and the furnishings and other decorations clearly show that. Very interesting photos, furniture and objects. The only one of five apts. we rented that had a washer and dryer which we needed since we were in Italy for 3 weeks. I had a little trouble finding it and there was a slight language barrier although Ann Marie tried very hard to assist us when she could.
