Fantastic rental

  • 5 of 5

The rental listing was accurate and upon arrival, the property was clean and presented as described in the listing. The owner made himself available and answered the questions we had very promptly . We would definitely recommend this rental if someone is looking for a bungalow within a couple of miles of downtown as well as easy access to the interstate. Great place, quiet location, and close proximity to downtown make this a great rental! We will go back for sure!

Close to town, but secluded and much cooler!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay here. This is the first rental I have encountered that had a full, functional (and matching!) set of cookware, cutlery and glassware- so we were able to host dinners for our son with no problems. The owner is very easy to work with, and most importantly to me, very responsive to any calls I made. It was never more than 30 minutes before he got back in touch with me! The rental was clean and as presented in the listing. I loved the location- about 10 degrees cooler than town (although only 10 minutes away). The views of all the trees from the inside and deck really added to the experience- very calming. Yes, the drive to the property is a bit narrow, but this is Asheville after all- there are a lot of roads like that! We would stay there again for sure.

Close to everything while still secluded

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing stay here! I'm ready to go back already! The place was even nicer than the pictures show...clean with modern appliances and furniture. I loved the little kitchen and the shower/tub was a nice feature. The beds were comfy and the house had a lovely view of the mountains through the trees. The drive to the location was a little narrow and there isn't a lot of room to park, but after navigating it a few times in our Dodge truck we got used to it.

I really loved the fact that it was close to anything you could possibly want to do in the Asheville area, yet you still felt miles away. One direction on the main road takes you to the city, the other direction to the parkway. Neither were more than 10 minutes away. It was awesome and I definitely plan on staying here again!

Wonderful place to stay if in Asheville!

  • 5 of 5

What a perfect place to stay in Asheville!! We will definitely be renting here again. It is a beautiful modern bungalow and we were really impressed with the location. Only takes a few minutes of going down the mountain and you drop right into downtown!

The description is completely accurate of this location. I think it's even better in person! Everything was spotless and clean and the owner provided great customer service with quick responses. Wifi, beautiful views through out the entire day, and it appears there were new screens in the windows so that you can enjoy the air!

The ONLY little thing i'd say is the doors do have small openings at the top, as well as the window unit wasn't sealed, so we had a handful of bugs get in the house. I love the outdoors, but I don't do well with stink bugs, ticks, etc., so if you don't mind a few bugs, you are good to go! I also reccommend you bring your own pillow, but again...the place was phenomenal!

You might see a few complaints on here about the parking, but honestly, you're in your own little nook! You don't have to worry about getting hit, trees hitting your car, etc..

If it's you and one other person, STAY HERE! If it's more than 2, i'd reccommend the owners other location (right next door)! Look on his page for the property #.

Modern, clean, and convenient to downtown

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend in March and we enjoyed it! The tub/shower was nice, it was beautifully furnished, and it was very private yet close to downtown. We didn't cook but there were basic cooking utensils and pots and pans there for you to use. The appliances were new, and the bed was comfy. We used Über to get to downtown at night and back, and it was wonderful. Probably about $12 per trip down the mountain. Josh was easy to get in touch with, friendly, and responded quickly with anything we needed. We would go there again, since it was very reasonable, clean, well furnished and conveniently located.

had a great time

Place was perfect for our needs. Super close to downtown but felt like entirely different place. Road is narrow and neighborhood is tight, especially if parking more than one car. Would stay again for sure.
