This small, but well equipped apartment was perfect for exploring the beautiful city of Florence. Very quiet, clean, and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to others. Within walking distance from train station, wonderful restaurants, and all tourist venues. Loved our stay in this apartment and this amazing, historical center of art and architecture.
Great introduction to the apartment with suggestions about meals, shops, things to do, getting around etc. Very central, so we could go to the nearby bakery then home for lunch most days.
Reasonable size apartment, though kitchen area is little more than a cupboard, but adequate for breakfasts and simple lunches.
Main negative is the stairs up to the sleeping area, which are treacherous in anything other than non slip shoes or bare feet, and also rather risky in the night, with no bedside lamp to assist.
Have suggested a non slip mat for the shower, and a dish cloth could be useful.
Also, as per almost every apartment we stayed in in our 2 month trip to Europe, the shower drain was blocked and we had to clear it out (my multipurpose pocket knife helped with this task).
From the start communication was quick, confirming necessary details. Upon arriving we were met with a friendly greeting, shown around, and given a map where he marked key spots of interest, sights, and local spots. We were blown away with how great the space is, the location, and how welcomed we were. The host covered all the details and more. We would've extended our stay longer if we could!
The location is 5 minutes from main train station and close to all main sights.
It's clean, quiet, and a neat space.
My wife and I made our honeymoon trip through Italy and Florence is still our favorite. Gemma was a pleasure to work with; extremely accommodating. We made a bonehead move and lost our apartment key while on a tour and Gemma was there waiting at the apartment with a brand new key when we returned. Between that and the time she spent giving us tips and answering our questions, she could not have been more helpful. The apartment was perfect. Great location. Great price. Very comfortable. 5 stars without hesitation.
The apartment looks and shows just as you see it in the listing. No hidden surprises -- a clean, comfortable and convenient place to stay in the heart of Firenze. Gemma, is a first rate property manager. She gave us a nice orientation to the apartment and the surrounding area - food stores and the fabulous Mercato Centrale. She also had maps and brochures available, and gave us our bearings regarding the popular sights, and some that might not be top of list but well worth seeing.
We had a wonderful 4-night stay. The joy about places like Firenze is that there's so much to see and do, that a trip back or several is a must. You can be sure we'll be looking-up Gemma again. She manages 6 properties in central Firenze and I`m certain they are all up to the same exacting standard.
The apartment was gorgeous and a perfect location! Gemma was super helpful, accommodating and informative, provided maps and recommendations. Would definitely recommend this apartment to others!
