Great place to stay. Close to the beach. We had more than enough room for two families. We were there during the cold season. Heating system kept everyone very comfortable. We would definitely go back.
We had a blast staying here for a friend's wedding in Plymouth. The house was clean and just big enough to fit a group of us to celebrate at the end of the night. This was our first time visiting the east coast and we loved it. Thanks for a perfect place to stay!
my family recently rented this beach house for our summer vacation. it was such a great house and it had so many bedrooms wich was great knowing we had a large number of people and many children who would be staying there. unfortunatly though when we first got there the house was very dirty and we actually had to clean every single room ourselves before we unpacked our bags. this house is not as clean as the pictures show. there were things such as moldy bath mats, and air vents. we had even found dirty dishes stored away in the kitchen cabinets.......although there where some disapointments, we did have alot of funn otherwise, the best part was the 5 minute walk to the beach which was great! we would certainly rent this house again but only if we know for sure that it is cleaned properly before we get to the house.......... did anyone even clean this house at alllllll?..
We rented this home for a birthday vacation. We spent the entire week enjoying the house and the area. The house and yard were even large enough for us to have a family cookout without feeling cramped in the slightest.
The game room was perfect and had plenty of room for several children to sleep. The master bedroom was huge and the loft was perfect for more children to sleep. It also gave a great view of the living room below, so we could all interact throughout the house without being on top of each other.
The house was very clean when we arrived and we were able to have it cleaned upon leaving for a very reasonable price. The owner was courteous and communicated well throughout the rental process. We would definitely rent this home again.
I highly recommend this property. My family and I had a wonderful experience in our one-week stay at the house, which is quite large and can easily accommodate 12 to 14 people.
Everyone enjoyed the ping pong and the pool table, the HD television with DVD, and WIFI internet access. The kitchen with all the latest appliances (including a large refrigerator and Bosch dish washer) is a wonderful place to prepare meals when you might prefer to dine in (some very good restaurants are close by too). The bedrooms are good-sized, nicely decorated, and well appointed: each has a very pleasant and distinctive atmosphere. The beautiful master bedroom, bath, and loft on the upper floor provide a comfortable get-away experience, if desired.
The two-car garage is available for you to park 2 vehicles. Outside, the deck and large yard make for great summer-time fun. The outside shower helps to wash off the sand after returning from the beach and before entering the house. There are plenty of sand chairs, beach toys, and folding chairs (all in excellent condition) to take to the beach. White Horse beach access is only a block away—very easy to get to. And what a wonderful beach it is. The neighborhood is pretty as well, especially as you head south out to Manomet Point toward the Lobster Pound (which you should definitely visit). We met the neighbors to the left of the house and across the street and found them to be very friendly and helpful.
Just 1 block to White Horse beach, 5 miles to Plimouth Plantation, and 8 Miles to Plymouth Rock and Mayflower II, make this property a perfect jumping off point for beach fun and touring this historically rich area.
We rented this house with my brother and his family and there were a total of 4 adults and 5 kids ages ranged from 7 - 15. Owners were very prompt with all emails and correspondence. House was spacious and the backyard was perfect for many whiffle ball battles. At night you could hear the ocean which was nice. The beach is a block away and we found it to be kind of littered but after the kids and the husband went on daily garbage pick up patrol, it was looking much better! They even picked up litter on the street too :). We did easy day trips to Boston, Hull, Cape Cod, Concord, Lexington, Salem and Gloucester. My only complaints would be the following....When we first arrived there was a horrible smell coming from basement (only apparent when at front door and stairwell up to main level. After we aired it out for a few days it was better. The comfort of the beds, not like home for sure ( but can't expect that I suppose) and they need a better selection of pans, but we managed with what was there. GREAT VACATION and we would stay again if we ever come back. I would also recommend it to anyone who needs a spacious place to put multiple family's.
10 min from historic downtown Plymouth. You can visit historic Plymouth Plantation and also the Mayflower the ship that brought the pilgrims to the new world. Shopping, great restaurants and museums as well as 'the rock' are in downtown Plymouth. Boat to Provincetown out of Plymouth Harbor, and book a sightseeing cruise, whale watch or ferry boat to Martha's Vineyard. A few miles to Sagamore Bridge to do some wonderful cycling or crossover to the Cape. Take a day trip to Woods Hole, the home of NOAA, on the Cape for an educational oceanographic experience. Or spend the night in Boston at the theater or dining on the North end. Malls and major shopping are all within a few exits. No matter the season or the weather there is plenty to do here on vacation.
