Just wanted to say a big thank you for letting us stay in your cottage this weekend. We had such a wonderful time and despite the wet weather we still went on some lovely walks around Charlbury and the Cotswolds. Everyone commented on how wonderful your house was and how pretty the village was.
Thank you for the house manual and the walking maps, both came in very useful!
We will definitely visit your cottage again in the near future.
This house is ideally situated for exploring the eastern Cotswolds. It is clean and well looked after. Everything works ! Excellent heating and hot water system - very easy to operate and control. Good Wi-Fi connection. We were a couple with 2 children aged 14 and 4 and it suited our needs well. Charlbury is very quiet and laid back and the cottage was quiet and peaceful despite being in a modern compound of several other neighbouring houses. Only a short walk from the mainline railway station and, for us, so convenient to Blenheim Palace, Burford and Oxford. The only consideration which stops it being a 5 star in our opinion is the fact that it doesn't have its own dedicated parking space. You have to park in nearby Church Lane, if space available, or a few minutes away in Market Street. However you can still drive up to the house for loading/unloading and the parking wasn't an issue for us and certainly didn't detract from a delightful and restful stay. We regularly stay in quality holiday homes and would happily recommend this house.
Had a great time. The house was wonderful, very cozy and felt like home. Beds were comfortable and had great hot water.
The cottage was in a lovely, quiet location. it was very well presented with comfortable furniture and a great little garden to enjoy. It is within a short walk to a well stocked shop and very easy to get to attractions in the Cotswolds. We had a very relaxing break.
On m'a répondu:"Never"! Snif....
