This newly remodeled, beautiful Town Home is located on 30 acres of skillfully maintained grounds, surrounded by banyans, banana trees, Plumeria and Hibiscus, this cozy town home is only 50 yards from the ocean. Within this gated community just south of Lahaina town, you can stroll the grounds, swim in one of the three pools (one of which is ocean-side), play tennis, walk into Lahaina town to shop or enjoy one of the many wonderful restaurants, and still enjoy the quiet and privacy of this gated community when you return.

Our beautifully decorated town home is ideal for families but also perfect for the romantic get away. The large master bedroom has a king size bed, while the loft sleeps 4 or 5 in the two twin beds and queen bed. The living room sofa converts to a queen bed if necessary. Fully air-conditioned, with three individual units in the master, living room and loft, the house has all of the comforts of home. Condo style vacation beats the high rise hotel model by a mile! You can park right in front of your home near the beach in your own parking spot.

After a day of whale watching, exploring, snorkeling, hiking, biking, or shelling, return to Puamana to watch the sunset from the lanai of the historic Plantation Clubhouse or ocean pool. The Clubhouse also offers the comfort of a card room, reading parlor and lending library.

Children enjoy the Dolphin pool and play area, or the Mountain pool, adults choose the only Ocean side pool in Maui!

Puamana Beach is considered one of the best surfing spots in the area in summer. The beach also provides almost a mile of walking or collecting.

We provide four tennis rackets and balls for use at the Homeowners court, 50 yards away.

Bring your laptop if you must, and connect wireless or use high speed connection with no additional charge. Wireless printer available in the house.

Maul Revealed, by A. Doughty describes it well as a 'Real Gem' with these comments: 'This is a huge, 30-acre gated community just outside Lahaina town, but a million miles away in terms of the tempo. Relaxed, soothing and lovely. Think of it as a tiny village on the outskirts of a busy town. Units are nicely furnished.....One of the pools is literally touching the ocean.'

About Dave and Cheryl Houston

We traveled as tourists for many year to Hawaii, from our home in Half Moon Bay, CA. After staying in a variety of resorts all around Maui we discovered Puamana and never looked back. We purchased our town home so we could enjoy Lahaina for part of the year as our family of 4 enjoys scuba, surfing, tennis, biking and 'just going to the beach'. We love to share this hidden treasure with friends and family as well as with the guests who come from near and far and enjoy the beauty of the area as much as we do.

Why Dave and Cheryl Houston chose Maui

The low rise, quiet beauty of Puamana made us feel so at home right away. From the West side and Lahaina, we can easily visit all of the other destinations of the island. We thought the wind and rain free climate on the West side was ideal. Our neighbors in the complex are great, as are the visitors we meet each time we come.

We feel in love with Puamana, as most do.

What makes this townhome unique

The ocean pool is truly unique, the only one on the island of its kind. Sunset from the clubhouse lanai is the best you will find, and right our your front door. We love being so close to Lahaina town, a short walk or bike ride. The sounds of the birds, the waves and the sweet smells are everywhere. We could go on, but just watch the video or the virtual tour.

This was our 4th stay . The Townhouse has been fully updated. The location on the property is perfect. Short walk to the clubhouse and pool. It is only a 1 mile walk into Lahaina. Shopping is conveniently close in Lahaina for stocking the refrigerator, eating out and personal shopping. We enjoy our mornings on the lanai with coffee and a pastry and walk to the clubhouse for a cocktail in the afternoon for a Sunset which are second to non.

Beautiful Townhome, perfect for a family

Nicely appointed and located very close to Lahaina town. Perfect space for our family of two adults and 3 young children. The kids loved having their own space in the loft. No issues with locating the property or getting in, or anything inside the house. Everything you could possibly want or need was provided including body boards that we used daily! The compound is beautiful and so quiet! There were a few mornings we had the pool to ourselves. The ocean was very fun for the kids to find critters in the rocks in the morning and the club house was so beautiful and reminiscent of old Hawaii. Would definitely recommend this property.

Puamana Townhome - Beautiful location

This Puamana Townhome is located in a beautiful location. The townhome is stocked with everything you need from a full kitchen set-up to snorkeling gear. We spent a few evenings in the clubhouse/common area to see the sunset and were pleasantly surprised by whales visiting the area! Dave and Cheryl are great owners and made the process of renting very easy. They were also available for questions on our arrival. We would definitely stay here again!

Puamana is truly perfection

We loved Puamana so much we booked for next year within weeks of returning home!! Dave and Cheryl are amazing and were available to us at all times. Upon arrival we were greeted with a lovely bottle of champagne from Property Manager Carey Branch. This unit is beautifully decorated and had everything we could possibly need. We cooked in most of the time and the kitchen was very well equipped with every gadget, utensil and appliance big or small. The location is excellent. Just steps to Front Street and walking distance to the shops and restaurants of Lahaina. The quiet pool is a little piece of heaven and likely the most beautiful and sunny spot on Maui. The sunsets from the Clubhouse are spectacular and you won't find a better view anywhere. Our vacation was absolute perfection!!

Great location

The Puamana area is a perfect location for staying in Maui. It's a mile walk to the downtown area by the harbor for easy access, which is great as parking is limited. We loved the Lanai and spent every bit of time that we could out there. We very much enjoyed our stay and hopefully will get to return someday!

Great Vacation with the Family

Just finished a fantastic stay with our family at this amazing condo. The accommodations were great from everything needed for meals in the kitchen to beach accessories for many enjoyable days exploring Maui. The grounds are amazing and we loved the solitude versus a resort stay. Kids loved the pools, tennis, outside movie night in the park, etc. Thanks for contributing to countless family memories and we look forward to returning to this wonderful place in the future!

Information in the house will guide you to hikes to hidden waterfalls, the Bamboo Forests and beaches of Hana, biking and hiking the Haleakala Crater, (go for the sunrise). Watch the Cliff Divers at Black Rock, see thousands of colorful fish from Honolua Bay or many other local snorkel spots, visit the lavender farm Upcountry or the charming little town of Paia for some wonderful arts and crafts and cuisine. Of course Maui is a golfers dream, visit the World class courses, but don't miss the art galleries and unique restaurants. Information on restaurants and activities available upon request. Regardless of your interest, you will want to return to the aloha of Maui, and Puamana in particular!
