Beautiful home with views
Easy to take a taxi from train station in Como to Moltrasio. Sara met me at arrival and I huffed and puffed my way up the mountain to the house. Clean and friendly area but a scorpion greeted me in my bedroom in the morning. I freaked as we do not have them in Wisconsin. Sara assured me it was harmless?! Weekend was perfectly relaxing.
Gorgeous Views and Walks
Perfect spot for a couple that enjoys wandering up and down the hills and taking in the views. Cool stone and modern living space with everything required to escape and relax. Sara provides all info required to understand the area and is super helpful. Looking forward to a return visit...
A lovely little retreat above the lake.
Of the four places in which my husband and I stayed during our trip to Italy, we agree this was by far our favorite. Spacious, comfortable, and what an incredible view. The lack of air conditioning was not an issue - Sara provides a fan that provides enough cool air. The washing machine and kitchen were luxuries at the price we paid, and did I mention the view? If you arrive on a Sunday, bring food - most everything nearby is closed. Thankfully, Sara's mother graciously drove us to a grocery store. Be prepared for lots of stairs, but that's just Como.
A little piece of heaven
My husband & I stayed at this thoughtfully appointed one-bedroom and loved it. The place is perfect for a couple looking for a clean, quiet haven. There is another apartment on the same property for a larger group, but the view from both overlooks Lake Como, and is stunning. It is a bit of a hike up to the apartment, but the owner's husband was so helpful in helping us with our bags. They also live right above the rentals, so are accessible if needed. The Trattorio del Fagio, close to where we parked our car, had a cozy atmosphere and good food.
Best place at lago di como. Nothing else to say!
Die Wohnung bietet alles, was man so braucht. Daher - gerne wieder!
