The Central London Den is a spacious apartment on the 5th Floor with a top floor. The Apartment sleeps up to 4. There is a state of the art 'eat in' kitchen with a dishwasher, induction hob, oven, fridge freezer and underfloor heating. There is also a luxurious bathroom with a shower and a cast iron bath.
In the principal bedroom is a King Size bed. There is a double bed in the living room (which, if required, converts from a sofa).
The apartment is set away from the local quiet street. It overlooks a pedestrianised area which is planted with foliage and trees. The balcony faces South West and receives sun all day long making the Apartment warm and very light, with light into all parts of the apartment.

The 5th floor is accessed via an external glass security door (and keypad) and it's own front door. A modern lift (as well as stairs) take you to the 5th floor. The stylish entrance hall is tiled and the whole apartment wheelchair accessible. The hallway leads to the right. A beautifully finished luxury bathroom with a cast iron bath and shower, as well as programmable underfloor heating is on the left. The hallway further leads to a state of the art eat in kitchen, featuring Gaggenau appliances, a variety of lighting options, a marble mosaic floor with underfloor heating and a huge glass and steel wall and door section to ensure it is light and bright.
Through the steel and glass screen and door is the living area which features Two linen armchairs, beautiful solid oak and ash furniture pieces, a gorgeous Ercol chest of drawers, wall lights, floor lights as well as ceiling down lights. There is a solid oak futon sofa which transforms from a sofa to a very comfortable double bed, if required. The top-level balcony is accessed through a large glass sliding door and features two armchairs and a small table - perfect for a summer's evening drink.
The large double bedroom has two large windows with beautiful white shuttered blinds. There is a King Size solid oak bed with a very comfortable sprung mattress. There is a corner chair along with cosy lighting, egyptian cotton sheets, sheepskins and large cupboards for storage and hanging clothes.
The Apartment is stunning, spacious and filled with light. It is a wonderful place in which to spend time and perfect for a memorable trip to London. The Central London Den is a beautiful home from home with understated luxury to provide unforgettable holiday memories.
The Apartment is practically next to Westminster Abbey, Big ben and Parliament and only a few moments walk to Buckingham Palace, St James's Park, with Horse Guards, Whitehall, 10 Downing Street, Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery, Covent Garden ad the West End (Theatreland) within very easy walking distance. It is also very convenient for Sloane Square, Kings Road and Chelsea.
I moved to London as a teenager, fell in love with it then and love it even more today. I live close to the Central London Den because of it's location right in the heart of the city.

We had a great 5 night stay at this flat. The owner, Torsten was very accommodating with our requests and responded very quickly to our questions prior to and during the stay. The flat is immaculate with a modern kitchen and a clean updated look. There is a Dyson fan which helped on the warm July nights. It's location is ideal for visiting the sights of London. I would highly recommend this flat for your visit to London.
Very nice and clean apartment close to everything you need to see. Kitchen was well equipped. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and also has these neat glass doors that allow to partition the place so one person can have breakfast in the kitchen while others are sleeping in the living room and not be woken up with the morning noises. Our host, Torsten, provided loads of instructions and was easy to get a hold of. We highly recommend this place.
I can't recommend this property highly enough. The information provided prior to our arrival was immensely detailed and very helpful. The apartment itself was spotless and had everything we could possibly have needed. The location is superb, in the centre of some of London's best attractions. I would definitely recommend to friends and family
Torsten is an extremely knowledgeable, helpful host and provides lots of great information to allow you to make the most of a visit to London. The apartment was spotless and very well equipped. Extras like dvd's and a Bose speaker are nice touches. The kitchen is state of the art, but we didn't make much use of it. The apartment is within easy walking distance of central London and very handy for Westminster. There is a very noisy building site at the end of the road but that's not in Torsten's control and was quiet at night and you don't go to London for peace and quiet! There is a tesco express just round the corner for provisions and we had a lovely meal at Quirinale. Torsten gives info on all these things before you go. It is expensive, but we felt it was worth every penny and would highly recommend it as a great base and a lovely place to come home to after a busy day. Thank you Torsten, would definitely use again.
We stayed with 4 people ( two adults, two children age 13 and 10) in this flat.
The apartment was very, very clean. We like the idea of the glass wall between kitchen and livingroom. It gives a very light atmosphere to the kitchen.
We adore the scandinavian feel of the livingroom with its calm color and a bit of wood.
The set up in the bedroom is also very calm and clean. The bed is big and comfortable and we heard no street noise.
Our children shared the futon in the livingroom. One child sleept comfi the other didn't like the futon. As one of our kids is allergic, we apriciated, there are no carpets in the entire flat. The little balcony is a charming ad.
Next busstop is a minute walk away and around the corner is a little tesco. Sandwichbars are very close by.
We loved the apartment because its not overdecorated, full of ligth because of big windows and you don' t hear any noises from your nabers.
The Central London Den is located in a perfect London location - it could not be better and only a few moments from all of Central London's sights. The Tate Museum by the Thames is 2 minutes away as is Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Parliament Square, 10 Downing Street, Whitehall and the London Eye. Buckingham Palace and St James's Park are a stone's throw as is Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery, the West End, Leicester Square, Regent Street and Covent Garden.
The closest stations are St James's Underground (for Heathrow airport), Westminster Underground Stations (for London City airport) as well as Victoria (Underground and Main line rail - for Gatwick airport)
The River Thames is at the end of the road with river boat services to Hampton Court and Greenwich from Westminster, Embankment and Tate pier.
