A beautiful appartment with garden and pool
This property is an old stone house converted into 2 modern apartments. Ours had a lovely private sitting area in a walled courtyard that was very pleasant to relax in and as a place to eat meals. The apartment was simply and stylishly furnished and was always cool, despite the high temperatures outside. The natural pool was very much appreciated in the hot weather and is surrounded by a tall hedge which keeps it nicely secluded. The garden is attractively landscaped with shrubs and flowering plants.
From the property we explored the national park and went walking around Geres and Campo de Geres (get details from the tourist office in Geres) and also went to Guimaraes which is a beautiful old city.

Our stay in Fernando's charming little property was simply delightful. It had everything we needed and Fernando himself could not have been more helpful.

Wow, what an amazing Holiday
We had a great time, the house, location, surrounding gardens and natural pool were all fabulous. The house was very comfortable and well equipped and Fernando was a very friendly and helpful host. He spoke good English which was a boon as our Portuguese is non existant and responded very promptly to any query.
We would recommend this area and most certainly this house and it's owner.

Peaceful and relaxing.
We stayed for five day stay at this beautiful house near the end of September. We flew into Porto from Dublin and rented a car at the airport. We arrived late at night but the owner Fernando met us on our arrival and was very friendly and helpful. He also spoke very good english.
The house is beautiful and is exactly as it is described and appears in the photographs. It is very modern , comfortable and clean inside and has a beautiful natural pool, court yard which gets the morning sun and a garden.
It is located in a very peaceful area and is about a five minute drive from the nearest town, Pōvoa de Lanhoso (check out the Castle for great views and restaurent). It is in excellent location for touring (a car is necessary) the other surrounding towns such as Braga and Guimaraes (which was our favourite) which are approximetly 20 minute drive away. The house is also a 30 minute drive from the national park which is a must see!
We would highly recommend this house and northern Portugal and will definitely consider returning in the future.

Wir haben uns in diesem komfortablen, ruhigen und sehr privatem Apartment sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Garten mit dem Naturpool ist wunderschön angelegt. Im nah gelegenen Ort gibt es viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Der Vermieter Fernando war jederzeit schnell erreichbar und sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Fernando et son père nous ont très bien accueillis, le logement est très agréable.
On s'y est senti come à la maison, nous y retournerons l'année prochaine,
