Charming and everything you need
Casita Tomas was a wonderful rental. An easy walk into town with every comfort provided and thought of. Highly recommend this lovely home.
Great location at a great price
Great location, short easy walk to the central plaza. The Casita is clean and well maintained. The perfect size for a couple. The owner greeted us personally when we arrived and gave us a tour of the property. The fresh cut flowers and the table set for dinner was a nice surprise. The off street parking is a major plus. I definitely would stay here again.
Everything is provided for a comfortable stay. Very thoughtful owner. Easy walking distance to the plaza.
Comfortable and Complete
The rental was spotless. The owners thought of ‘everything’ when setting up this casita. We wanted for nothing. It is about a 3 block walk to the plaza so we did not have to wonder about parking which is always an issue in the summer.
Rita was pleasant and accomodating. We had a wonder experience.
All the comforts of home
This is our second time (but not our last) to rent Rita & Tom’s Casita. She and Tom are always very helpful, and willing to work with us to make our stay comfortable.
The casita is located near the Plaza and one block away from the Ski Basin Road. Nearby attractions include: Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, Museum of Art, Palace of the Governors and Cross of the Martyrs. Within walking distance are numerous art galleries including those on Canyon Road, restaurants, the new convention center and shopping. Nearby, outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy hiking, biking, golf, tennis, horseback riding, river running and downhill and cross-country skiing. There are also several ancient Native-American ruins as well as present day pueblos available for visiting especially on feast days. During the summer one should not forget Indian Market, Spanish Market, Chamber Music Festival, the International Jazz and World Music Festival and of course the Santa Fe Opera.
Ski: The house is located within one block of Hyde Park Road, the road to the ski basin. About 25 minutes away, you will find wonderful and affordable skiing at Ski Santa Fe.
