Shores of Panama is anything but ordinary, a Hawaiian style resort located on the Gulf Coast, on one of the world's most breathtaking beaches, the resort features designer decor and loaded with amenities & activities right next door to one of the famous restaurants, Pineapple Willy's and in walking distance from Walmart Supercenter. Over 20,000 sqft of pools, outdoor tiki huts with a full menu & drinks, spa, hot tub, heated indoor pool, italian inspired atrium and the list goes on and on.

Located on the 14th floor with very close proximity to elevator and absolutely beautiful view onto ocean and spectacular sunsets, this awesome condo features 1 bedroom, 1 bunk room, 2 full bathrooms, a great room and fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops. It sleeps up to 6 people comfortably (Master BR sleeps 2, bunk sleeps 2 children full size bottom/twin size top bunk bed, and Queen Sleeper Sofa in great room sleeps 2). Master has super comfortable latex foam mattress. For your convenience, there is even a washer and dryer located in the unit. Fully furnished and tastefully decorated. Patio table set & lounger on oversized balcony. This extremely well laid out 'C' plan offers plenty of space and comfort. PET FRIENDLY UNIT so you don't have to leave this important part of your family behind. There is a place behind the condo area where you can walk your dog, but there or you can take your pet to the nearest dog friendly beach, which is # 57 just west of Pier Park, about 5 miles away from the Shores of Panama.

Great room is equipped with a 50' LCD TV, 32' LCD TV in Master bed room, Cable, high speed internet, DVD player, and surround sound system.

Kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, built-in microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, smooth top stove. Cooking utensils and dishes provided.

About Christiane

I am originally from Germany but became a US Citizen a few years back and live in GA. Over a decade ago I became a Real Estate Broker and saw the potential of this awesome condominium complex and adored its design and beauty. The 'U' shape makes it quite different from other condos, which nestles that beautiful beachfront courtyard, as well as the all of the decorator designs found throughout. When the unit is not booked, I enjoy going down there, of course to relax, but also to spruce things up and make sure that everything is well maintained for my guests.

What makes this condo unique

I love the fact that Walmart is across the street to grab that little something we all tend to forget from time to time. My favorite pass time is to visit Seaside, a quaint little town in between Panama City Beach and Destin.

Worst Place I have ever stayed in PCB

We stay in PCB twice a year and this is the worst place I have ever stayed. First of all this is really meant for 2 adults with children. The bunk bed adults could not get in, the room is so small. Second, You have to pay additional $30.00 a day to use the pool and access their beach. Other wise you have to walk 1//2 mile to a public beach. Third the air conditioner did not work. I spent 2nd night trying to get that correct and when we left the master bathroom toilet had to be plunged. Will never stay at Shore of Panama again!

Owner's Response: It is discouraging to see a review like this when every effort is made to have this unit in tip top shape and especially all things mentioned are out of owners control. This is a C unit like so many others at Shores with a bunk area designed for children and more than adequate for that purpose. With a queen size bed in the master bedroom, a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room and a full/twin size bunk bed, this unit can accommodate 6, I'm not even sure why this is a matter in question. Second issue of paying to have access to the beach is true for all guests staying at Shores of Panama, something individual unit owners have nothing to do with and no control over but rather is a fee imposed by the resort itself which is always disclosed by me in the initial rental quote and then again during check-in instructions, why it was a surprise to this guest is beyond my understanding. The guest was contacted right away in regards to the AC issue, it was late at night, guest assured me that it would be okay to have it checked out the next day since temperatures were in the low 60's, but then upon next contact of scheduling the service, guest advised that the AC was working again because only the breaker had tripped. I never was informed about the master bathroom toilet having to be plunged upon their departure, it was fine upon this guests arrival, so perhaps this was an issue caused by this guest. This unit has one of the best 1 BR /bunk floor plans available at Shores maximizing space by avoiding long halls and other wasted space. Resort charges are out of my control as well as mechanical failures that can and will happen as in any home but are always addressed immediately. Again, some folks are just impossible to please, very unfortunate but I trust that most people will use common sense when reading the reviews and responses.

Awesome Vacation and Condo Rental

Best vacation in a long time - loved the condo and the VIEW - WOW awesome. Condo building staff was helpful.

Easy access to the condo for individual with disabilities. I appreciated the Security staff acknowledging me each time I took my toy poodles about back to potty (especially at night). Owner was great to work with and I plan to rebook next year with her. Thank you so much for sharing your condo:)

Fair

The room was ok. The carpet was old. And the unit lacked much of the needed supplies such as pots for cooking and a can opener . The one spatula in the unit fell apart. And the worst of all was the hot elevators thst go 23 floors. You have to wait forever for the elevator and then when you finally get on it packed wall to wall each and every time you board. I have to say it was the worst stay I have ever booked.

Owner's Response: We appreciate all reviews, however, a full set of pots and pans as well as other kitchen utilities are provided, maybe this guest is an elaborate cook who is used to having multiple or special tools around. Unfortunately, the summer is busy and owners have no control over elevator usage.

Not a good value!

We stayed at Shores of Panama about 9 years ago and loved it. which is why we returned, but we were very disappointed in our stay this time. The carpet has a hole in it and is very worn. It needs to be replaced. if you step on the carpet where it meets the tile, you get poked in the foot by the tack strip. We had to purchase febreeze to spray on the carpet because it smelt musty. The towels also had an odor. Even after i washed them twice. We ended up going to Walmart and purchased our own towels to use. the shower curtain rod needs to be fixed. It appears to be bent and could fall off. The pool and building management is run separate and they are unable to help you with anything related to your stay. The facility itself was not very clean. The elevators all had a horrible odor to them and after spending an extra $180 for pool and facility use (you can't get to the beach if you don't pay this), i would have expected that the pool area be kept up a little better. the pool deck should have been swept, the sand should have been vacuumed from the pool and cleared from the "rinse off" stations. We were very disappointed.

Owner's Response: Many guests stay at this condo throughout the year, not once was there ever an odor issue, it seems this guest had an odor issue with the unit and the complex itself. The carpet was slightly damaged by a previous pet and the repair is scheduled as soon as the unit is vacant for a day. The carpet gets cleaned once or twice a month as needed. New upgraded towels were purchased 3-4 months ago to match the fresh paint makeover the unit received end of last year, so carpet and towel odors are a mystery. The shower rod is designed to have a curve in it to provide more space when showering. I can't speak for the complex itself, but through email threads of owners on the board, it is evident that issues that do arise are addressed and taken care of. A 1 Star rating for seemingly minor issues which were perceived by one guest and not others seems rather harsh, I understand it is impossible to please everyone, but the 5 star ratings of recent guests speak for themselves. I emailed my cleaning team last night and here is her response regarding the aforementioned: I'm sorry for the displeasure. I have not noticed a "musty" smell at all in the condo nor an odor in the towels. It has been extremely humid here. My first thought, perhaps balcony door being open or the AC or dehumidifier not being set low enough? We wash the towels and linens with Gain detergent and use fabric softener, so the towel odor is a mystery to me. Also, the shower curtain rod was not loose when we were there last.
