About the property

The city in the country house with 2 bedrooms, large living room, garden, pool

A discount of 100 € for 2 consecutive weeks, and 200 € for 3 consecutive weeks is offered.

On the house side, it's a real family home that we offer, the one we live in, with our books, our trees and a lot of character. It is well equipped to live in Provence and make the most of our beautiful region.

The kitchen is open on a bright living room, libraries, TV, stereo, wifi. The kitchen also gives on a storeroom (tidying up, provisions, refrigerator) which opens on the garden by a big wooden terrace. It is the ideal place in the middle of the summer to have breakfast and to eat under the lime tree by the pool (tables, chairs, armchairs).

Two bedrooms, each with a double bed and storage space available, corridor with another library, bathroom with walk-in shower, etc.

The linen is provided: sheets, towels, towels (except pool towels).

The garden (800 m2), you can eat outside at the pool (8 x 4) in the shade of the old lime tree or take his breakfast in another friendly south corner overlooking the living room. Everywhere, outdoor tables, chairs, sunbeds, parasols. A small vegetable garden gives delicious strawberries, raspberries or tomatoes, according to the season ... without forgetting the famous herbs of Provence, thyme, rosemary, sage, marjoram or parsley.

We are 2 km from the Aix markets, on the old road from Aix to Marseille.

We have all the small shops at 200 m (fruit, baker, butcher, pharmacist, restaurants, hairdressers ... & doctors), 3 km, a Carrefour hypermarket, 10 minutes from the TGV station and 25 minutes from Marseille-Marignane airport. .

We are also close to the hill (Montaiguet) and the banks of the Arc, where the athletes will make their jogging. A treetop course for all ages and all levels is a stone's throw away.

Above the house a small totally independent apartment is inhabited by a nurse working on Marseille

See you soon, with pleasure!

  • 4 of 5

City of waters, city of arts, Aix en Provence is endowed with a rich real estate inheritance. City to 200 townhouses and 40 fountains, "A blind man believes it rains, but if he could see without his cane, he would see a hundred blue fountains sing the praise of Cézanne" says Jean Cocteau.

Flanner in the morning in colorful markets (small daily market, big market Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays), smells of thyme and lavender, linger on the terrace of the cafe of the Two Boys frequented by Paul Cézanne and Emile Zola under the plane trees from the Cours Mirabeau, admire the beautifully restored Hôtel de Caumont or, just a stone's throw away, the Musée Granet with Cézanne or Rembrandt, and in the evening savor "Music in the street" on the streets.

Climb to the cross of the Sainte Victoire mountain (1100m) painted some 80 times by Cézanne (still), dive into the creeks of Cassis beautiful breathtaking (40 minutes by road), go to dinner in the small hilltop villages of Lubéron (50 min.) Or eat a bouillabaisse at Fanfan in the Auffes valley in Marseille (25 min).

See you there!
