Guestbook comments from the owner

We stayed with a bunch of different friends from all around the country and had a blast. It was a great location as there was sooo much to do all around the area. The house was immaculate, and accommodated 12 of us, couples and singles, greatly. Plus they have the coolest kitchen drawers ever! If we could get back to that area, I think we'd have to stay in that place, or else it wouldn't be the same. Memories!

Beautiful, comfortable home!

  • 5 of 5

This lovely home was the perfect get away for our annual 3-family vacation. We have stayed in many rental homes over the past 17 years and this was at the very top of the list!! Clean, comfortable, scenic and spacious--everything we needed. We also loved the large dining table where we could all dine together. We would recommend this lodge to all!!

Exactly what we needed

  • 5 of 5

The property was great with the river front just off the deck. The sound of the river and fly fishing were perfect. Our group of 11 fit nicely. The dining room table even seated us all. Plenty of beds, space, amenities, and local attractions. Things could not have been better. Rick

Wonderful lodge. Rustic feel w/ modern amenities!

  • 5 of 5

We spent the night at the Fall River Lodge after participating in the Cascade Lakes Relay Race. The owner, Mary, was very responsive in our communication when we were booking and arriving. The lodge itself is beautiful, with dark wood trim and solid furniture. With the expansive porch and peaceful sound of the river flowing past the property you can't beat the ambiance. Highly recommended!

Wonderful family trip

  • 5 of 5

What a fabulous summer house!! We had 11 adults and one baby and we all had plenty of space. Love the kitchen and it is well stocked with appliances you don't usually see in a rental house. In fact, the whole house does not feel like a rental. It feels like you are visiting relatives. A bald eagle flew down the river one evening while we were drinking wine on the deck. We saw deer across the river. What an experience!

Wonderful Winter Get-Away

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at the cabin over New Years Weekend. The cabin provided a perfect snowy get-away along the river. The cabin is beautiful and peaceful. The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of plates, cups and glasses. The gas fireplace was perfect. There isn't a TV in the main living room downstairs, but there are 3 TVs in the house in the bedrooms. It's not too far of a drive to Mt. Bachelor for skiing. We'd definitely love to stay again.

Fall River Lodge Winter

  • 5 of 5

This is a contemporary craftman-style lodge that provides a perfect setting along the river. We arrived during a winter storm and access roads and driveway were plowed and accessible. Outdoor temperature during our stay averaged 15 degrees F, and the cabin was perfectly comfortable and inviting after outdoor activities with its grand fireplace and well appointed interior. The kitchen is completely stocked--spices and sundries and with every imaginable need for cooking. Plenty of cookware and nice glassware for wine and cocktails. Coffee drinkers can choose from a variety of preparations from expresso to french press. We used their sleds for our grandchildren's play and had a great time fly fishing the Fall. Mary and Dave are very friendly and accessible and provided clear instructions and information.

We're looking forward to another visit.
