One of a kind architecture, attention to detail and very relaxing. I'd recommend this to anyone. It won't disappoint.
Thank you for the beautiful comments and for your appreciation! Please come back anytime--you were just perfect guests. So happy to know you enjoyed your stay! Susan and Val.
We enjoyed our stay . The hill country setting was beautiful, seeing deer was very exciting. Pool was nice although water was a little cool. I am unable to give 5 star rating because 2 of the upstairs bedrooms were extremely warm and even with AC turned down , they never cooled off. If owner can find a solution to this problem , we would definitely return.
Beautiful view of the hill country!
The property is delightful with lovely stone pathways and natural beauty to explore and a refreshing pool to enjoy.
I remember reading another review when we chose this property that warned of lots of stairs...it was not an exaggeration! This house is very interesting in its layout.
Thank you for staying!
We enjoyed our stay at this very unique and huge estate. It has a beautiful backyard and pool. We will certainly come back.
Beautiful house and property. Hurricane hit while we were there, so we didn't get to see everything on the property, but the house was awesome.
Amazing Weekend Getaway
My husband and I, along with 8 of our best friends spent a wonderful weekend at this house. It is absolutely gorgeous. The house is 3 levels. The pool is at least 10 feet deep with a very creative waterfall. The area behind the waterfall is not heated - I only mention this because some of my friends thought it was a hot tub from the pictures. There is ample seating around the pool. I would suggest bringing styrofoam or plastic cups if you are going to be drinking at the pool. There are plenty of glasses in the house, but I do not remember seeing very many plastic cups. I would also suggest some sort of mosquito repellent if you plan to be out at night. We brought oversized floats and had plenty of room to float around. The diving board is sturdy, and easily accommodated our guys who were ever 6 feet and over 220 pounds. The master suite is located on the ground floor, as well as another bedroom. The bathroom on the ground floor is not located inside of the second bedroom, but can easily be designated for that room. There is a sauna in the shower of the master bath as well as a jetted Jacuzzi tub. My advice about the master suite is if you are traveling with early risers who may be walking around the patio area of the master suite, be sure to sleep well clothed. There is a beautiful view of the hills, but there are no curtains on that side, so you can see out and everyone can see in. A person would have to actively make an effort to look your way, but it is easy for them to do so. The master suite has a separate room with a desk if you need to get some work done or set up your computer. There is a small refrigerator and wet bar on this level also, which is very nice, because it keeps you from having to go upstairs each time you want a cold drink. The pool table and a cabinet with various games in it is on this level as well. The second level, which is the main entrance level is where we spent most of our time. The kitchen is located on this level. There are plenty of dishes, glass ware, and utensils. The washer and dryer is on this level. The beautiful large room with the red couch is on this level. There is also a large deck adjacent to the dining room which has table set for 6 but we added 4 more chairs comfortably. The other 3 bedrooms are on the top level. Please read the information in the red folder!! It is full of important info. I've run out of room, but the bottom line is, we had a blast and will definitely be staying here again!
Thank you for staying at our vacation home, and for being such excellent guests!
