|Minimum Stay||4 nights|
This one bedroom, two bath oceanfront condo is set up to sleep four guests. It is the perfect setting for the vacationer who would like to experience the feel of peaceful and relaxing Hawaii. Our condo is located just down the beach from some of the world’s most famous surfing beaches on the North Shore of Oahu.
In the winter months ( October to March), the North Shores Waves can reach 30 - 40 feet at times, with all of the champion surfers holding their contests here. During the winter months, whale watching can be enjoyed from our beach when the Alaskan Humpbacks put on a show in our waters.
In the summer months ( April to September), you can enjoy the calm, warm waters with your favorite water sport. The sandy beach in our backyard is wonderfully uncrowded and is protected by three coral reefs which makes for nice swimming, diving, and snorkeling. Throughout the year, there are numerous Green Sea turtles that cruise just off shore.
All linens are provided for the bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. There is an on-site quarter operated laundry room, with four washers and dryers, that you can use to quickly get things washed up. We’ve included beach chairs, beach towels, two sets of snorkels & masks, and two boogie boards for your convenience. We have also just purchased a tempur-pedic type memory foam mattress topper for the queen size bed and the twin beds to make your nights even more pleasant and comfortable.
Aloha and Mahalo!
We just wanted to let everyone know this was the perfect getaway location. Our first trip to Hawaii was both relaxing and memorable thanks to such a great location and the property managers Suzanne and Bob. The condo was clean, comfortable, fully stocked with everything needed and the view is spectacular! Sleeping in the living room is ideal because you can listen to the waves from the ocean and enjoy the breeze all night! I can't say enough about the hospitality of Bob and Suzanne and staying in Haleiwa was the perfect location. You can still travel to Honolulu and the rest of the Island easily but enjoy the small town atmosphere of the North Shore. When we make it back to Hawaii we will definetly stay here again!
Aloha Bob and Suzanne and thanks again!

Hubby, myself and 17yo son enjoyed our stay at Sue and Bob's Condo. It is a clean unit and has everything that you need. Love the two bathrooms. All communications were prompt, happy, clear and polite. Beach towels were a fabulous size. It is very peaceful. Residents live there so there is a lovely community feel to the place. Saw heaps of turtles out the front. Hubby was a mite upset that on the day that we left there was surf directly out the front. He wanted to stay. Loved Haleiwa Joe's Happy Hour (down the road) and found everything we needed in town. Loved Spagettini's Pizza and Spinach Ravioli ( yum).
Really nice, really clean unit! 2 beautiful travertine showers, lots of hot water, all the necessary kitchen stuff and luxurious bath towels. Plus one of the best swim/snorkel beaches on the North shore...turtles and fish galore! A relaxing, friendly spot to recharge- not commercialized and yet good food, souvenirs and shopping available in town. Our new Hawaiian favorite place to stay!
My wife and I needed a place to stay on the north shore on short notice. Suzanne replied promptly and the reservation process was simple and easy.
The unit itself was great. It's very clean, great showers, and the kitchen is well stocked. We really appreciated the supply of beach gear (towels, chairs, beach sheet, snorkels, boogie boards). The location is perfect also, it's just a couple minutes drive from Haleiwa town. Anywhere on the north shore is just a short drive away.
I was pleasantly surprised by the beach behind the condo too. It's sandy up to a point, but further out the snorkeling was quite good (head for the blue pipe straight out). I saw more turtles at this spot than anywhere else on the island (including Hanauma Bay and Sharks Cove).
- The Blue Water food truck by the 76 gas station in Haleiwa, the Ono plate was incredible.
- Sharks Cove snorkeling, it's very crowded so go early. It's a unique spot, very rocky with tons of fish.
- Waimea Falls Park, swim in the waterfall then relax on the beach.
- Ka'ena Point State Park, it's a long, hot hike but very rewarding. Wear a bathing suit, there's a few calm (and deserted!) bays along the way. We also saw a monk seal at the point.
This condo is just as described, and Suzanne was very helpful. Everything that we needed - and more - was there. We were travelling with a 2 year old, so we wanted a separate bedroom for her, so that we could keep the lights on and maybe watch a movie, or have a drink, once she went down for bed at 7pm. We slept in the bed in the main living room (there is no couch). The kitchen is quite minimal but there are so many accessories and utensils. There are 2 bathrooms. There is no tub except for the sit-tub in the en-suite and the main shower was nice though a tad small, even for average sized people like us. Coming from a city with a lot of property crime, we were not used to leaving windows and louvers open when we left for the day; Suzanne reassured us that it's normal and safe (tight community of residents). Regardless, we never left our valuables out in the open. I may be getting picky but in the interest of giving a thorough review, I would say the place could use a good deep cleaning, especially glassware, around cupboards, light switches, and the ceiling fan etc. There is no dishwasher. However we still think that this was a great choice for our vacation and would not hesitate to stay again.
In addition to commenting on the condo, we wanted to share some of our experiences staying in the area: We really could not have chosen a better place to stay on the Island!
It is amazing to hear the ocean and birds while in bed. Unfortunately, we never got to see any turtles, except for one that a fisherman caught and subsequently released. We were a little anxious driving out in the dark for about an hour from the airport but as soon as we got near the coast, the town seemed very welcoming. We decide to check out Waikiki mid-week, but ended up spending half the day in traffic. So much more content to explore the north shore. If you really crave a chain restaurant or mall shopping, you can find it 30 minutes or so away in Mililani. We loved spending time in Haleiwa town whenever we were not at the beach. I wouldn't say that it was feasibly walkable from the condo, at least not with small kids. There are plenty of restaurants and food trucks, but for some reason most of them are Mexican/Latin. Groceries are easy to get, but pretty expensive, even by Vancouver standards. We splurged one day for lunch at the Turtle Bay Resort and have to it was our best meal of the trip. We felt it was a little difficult to eat healthy.
Watch out for drivers backing up!
My family of 4 had a great time on the North Shore and the condo was more than we could have asked for. It was quiet, comfortable, relaxing and had everything we needed to make the stay a memorable one. Our two kids had an amazing time on the beach out front and were thrilled to see Honu's resting in the sand from time to time. The Kaena Point sunsets were simply amazing. Haleiwa town is a quaint little town with lots of history and neat shops and restaurants to go to. Be sure to check out Spaghettini, it had great pizza and other menu items! Other great places to see in the area included local farmers markets, the historic Waialua Sugar Mill, Waimea Valley and Bay, Chuns Reef, Ehukai Beach Park, Sunset Beach and many more. The Polynesian Cultural Centre wasn't far either and we really enjoyed that day. Thanks Suz for helping us book our stay and for the helpful information you provided! We hope to back one day! Aloha.
There is a nice barbeque area with numerous picnic tables next to the beach. This is where we all meet at dusk to watch some of the most incredible sunsets on the planet and talk story.
This unit is located on the second floor and has wonderful views of the beach and ocean. We’ve fully furnished the condo’s kitchen so you may prepare meals for yourself. You can relax on your lanai, dine alfresco and listen to the waves wash ashore. We are located within walking distance, just one mile, from Haleiwa town where there are all the retail shops, supermarkets, & restaurants you need to make your trip complete. If you want the nightlife of Waikiki, this is not for you as quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am and this is strictly enforced by the on-site resident manager. We live on-site in another condominium and will be able to assist you during your stay. Free Wireless Internet on a secure network.
