I have been meaning to write you about your property in Captiva Island. It has been since June that I have not sent you this letter. We had the most remarkable time on the island and your home. The home felt like home. We had our 3 daughters, 2 son-in-laws, and 4 grandchildren for a week in paradise. You were extremely helpful in telling us about the area. Your home had more amenities than I had expected. From the beach towels to the gas grill nothing was missing. The short walk to the beach turned into an adventure every day with the grandchildren. When they got tired at the beach from playing in the sand or snorkeling it was lunch time.l After lunch it was either nap time or pool time. I thought that the little ones would be all wrinkled up from all the water time. Everybody had their own space to live in. Not once did I hear I'm bored there is nothing to do. The little ones loved the pool and the float things that were there. We had rented a 15 passenger van and brought most of our food from the mainland. The van sat in the driveway most of the week. No need to drive when the restaurants and little store are only 1-2 blocks away. We had a GREAT meal everyday. Our son-in-law asked when we could come back to the island and this house again. He actually relaxed. You can use me for a reference any time. I look forward to coming back to the island life soon.

We had a wonderful time on our first trip to Captiva. The house was perfect for our family of four generations! The elevator was a necessity for my 85 year old father and the pool was a huge hit with my grandchildren. The location was perfect for walking into town and a very short walk to the beach. We appreciated all the beach towels, umbrellas, ice chest and cart. I would recommend this home to anyone visiting Captiva.
We had a wonderful time staying at Aviva Captiva! First the location was great, just a short walk to the beach and one block from a great selection of restaurants, shopping, etc! The house was spacious and updated. We had EVERYTHING we needed! Plenty of towels, beach toys, 2 beach carts and two beach umbrellas. It made the whole vacation that much better as we had nothing to worry about. The owner was super nice and very accommodating. We will be staying at Aviva Captiva again, without a doubt!
The island of Captiva was absolutely charming and beautiful. It was a quaint getaway from the hustle and bustle of the more commercialed parts of Florida.
My wife and I have rented many vacation homes over the years and Aviva Captiva was by far the best yet. This home has everything from a fully stocked kitchen, elevator, heated pool, games, x-box, ping pong and private bathrooms for every bedroom. The location was perfect. Just a few houses from the beautiful gulf beaches and only a very short 2 block stroll to the Captiva Village center. The home was spotless and provided all beach and bath towels, bed linens and robes. The owner and manager was always available with a phone call. This was a very comfortable and well equipped vacation home that we thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay on Captiva.
We have rented vacation homes in Emerald Isle, Myrtle Beach, Fripp Island and Hilton Head. Aviva Captiva is definitely our new favorite. The property is both clean and spacious. The house was laid out perfectly for our family. We enjoyed the massive master suite away from the commotion while all our adult children and grand children spread out in the remaining bedrooms. We spent our days at the nearby beach sunning, shelling, swimming, and jet skiing. By afternoon we all were enjoying "Happy Hour" and appetizers poolside at the house. We all took turns preparing dinners on the Webber Grill and in the well equipped kitchen. Everything we needed was within walking distance including bars, restaurants, shopping and a marina where several manatees gathered every morning. One of the highlights of our trip was the day we rented a pontoon boat. We motored to Cabbage Key for a fabulous lunch then we ventured to our own secluded beach where we swam and fished (caught 3 Grouper) for hours. On the journey back to the marina we saw several schools of dolphins many of which swam near the boat. Aviva Captiva provided irreplaceable memories for our family and I highly recommend the property for your next family vacation.
Our son graduated from Grad School at UMiami and we wanted to find a beach house on the gulf. Paradise Found! We have rented many vacation homes over the years and we all agreed that this was the best. The accomadations fit our family perfectly. The is lots of space for private getaway space - crow's nest to see the sunrise, loft or many porches. The tranquil blue sea is steps away as is the library, corner store, marina and many restaurants. The home even has 3 refrigerators in case you need to store many beverages (we stopped at Costco on the way to the house). The owner Don was immediately available if we needed anything. We had some seniors and all the way down to 20s at the house. Everyone loved it. All the bedrooms have TV and another large one in the main LR. We enjpoyed spending afternoons in the covered pool or playing games at the poolside. Eating on the covered main level deck was usually breakfast or lunch. If you like grilling a Weber grill awaits your fresh fish. Don suggested the marina and a restaurant in town to walk to on our first night. We love the area so much that we are considering a move there in our later years. Sanibel is close and boasts the best shelling in the world. We have already suggested the home to several of our friends and will be back. This was our first VRBO experience and it could not have been better.
The house is very well maintained and has everything and more one could want on a vacation. Plenty of room inside and out and steps away from beach. Guests do not need to drive - everything within walking distance. would definitely stay here again.
