Stoneleigh captures the Breckenridge Victorian charm with its beautifully-landscaped yard greeting you with interest any time of the year. Location is everything in Breckenridge and this house has it! A two-block walk to Main Street for shopping and great restaurants and a one-block walk to a small grocery store and post office make this a perfect location for skiers and non-skiers alike. No need for a car to drive to the slopes; a free shuttle picks you up just steps away to head to the Gondola or Peak 9.

When you enter this newly renovated (in 2012) home, you will find a warm and inviting living room with fireplace and large, 50” flat screen TV tied into a professional surround sound audio system. The kitchen and dining room are just steps away, making for a perfect gathering place. A look out the front and side windows puts the mountain in full, breathtaking view. This level also provides a powder room, access to a side door leading to a deck equipped with a grill and hot tub as well as steps to a heated garage where ski and snowboard gear can be stored.

Upstairs you will find two bedrooms. The master in the front of the house offers a king bed and amazing views of the ski slopes while the bedroom in the back can convert from two twins to a king (upon request during reservations) and has a single sleeper chair for additional sleeping capacity. Both upstairs bedrooms have their own private bathroom, TV with cable and ceiling fans.

On the lower level are two rooms connected by a shared bathroom. One room is another master with a king bed, cable TV, and walk-in closet while the other room has built-in bunk beds to sleep three and is equipped with cable TV and game system. This level also has a laundry closet containing a washer and dryer.

Beautiful house in great location

House was a nice as advertised and the location cannot be beat. Very clean, lots of space for our two families of 8 people total, nicely furnished. Ski bus stops right outside front door or 2-minute drive to the gondola parking lot (free parking for 4 or more people in car). Rental agency was very responsive. Only concern is that the downstairs bedrooms get very hot (especially bunk room with no windows). We turned the heat down completely but it was still hot in the bunk room 4 days later.

Returned many times

We have returned many times to Stoneleigh on French street (or Claddagh House in earlier years). We are 2 generations, 10 people that fit comfortably into the house. We have returned because River Ridge Rentals has been excellent to work with, the house is clean and well stocked, and the location is great. It is in-town so we can walk to many locations, the bus stops in front, and the gondola is about 4 blocks away. If there was any issue(s) - which is rare- the matter(s) have been quickly remedied. If asked, we recommend this highly.

Lovely spotless property in superb location

We were a party of 3 families staying at Stoneleigh over Easter 2015, 7 adults, 2 small kids and a teenager. Our whole experience with the owners was flawless from start to finish. Detailed joining instructions sent ahead of arrival meant check in was a piece of cake. On arrival everything was just as described, really good quality of furniture and fittings, large rooms, very comfortable house and immaculately kept.

The location just 2 blocks from Main Street is brilliant for walking to bars etc and with the ski bus stop being right out the door it was so easy for access to the slopes. Convenience store just 2 minutes walk. Great ski storage in the heated garage.

We loved every bit of staying here, it was our second time in Breckenridge and should have a third trip to Breck (from the UK) then we would not hesitate staying here again.

The only negative would be that the two bedrooms downstairs did tend to get warm due to the heating boiler being located downstairs next to the bunk room (this room has no windows which didn’t help) … BUT, hey it’s a bedroom not a living room, if you’re out skiing during the day and out in wonderful Breckenridge enjoying yourself in the evening then it’s no big problem. The rest of the house was perfect - thank you.

Would definitely return.

Superb location, excellent facilities and great for groups

Simply gorgeous property with amazing location with Main Street only two blocks away. We were a mix of friends and family and we all found this to a superb layout so we could all do our own things and then easily have time together at e.g. meal time. Facilities were great and well able to cope with 5 adults and one baby. Set up was super easy including getting groceries delivered before we arrived - the management company was helpful and made everything easy. When we left we discussed booking this property again next year already.

We keep returning...there are 10 in our family - 6 adults and 4 kids ages 8-11 -- our 4th year. So far the only kitchen item that we missed was an ice cream scoop....the house is clean, the location in town is perfect, the pictures are accurate (very nice renovation last year), and there is room for everyone. The guest book was being revised so we had to rely on our experience from the past as to TV and other electronics, check out procedures, etc. When we called with questions, we did receive an answer(s) in a timely manner. Otherwise after a long journey to get there, it is so nice to have to be able to just move in and enjoy...we all recommend.

Perfect vacation home near center of town for a family and great skiing

Our stay at the Claddagh House for a great week of skiing with our family of 6 was exceptional. The house is the best equipped and furnished vacation house that we have rented. The radiant heat was wonderful as was the instant hot water. We have never rented a place with a better equipped kitchen. The final touch was a humidifier for each bedroom. The convenience of being two blocks from the center of town and with bus stops across the street was great. We would recommend this home without reservation to a friend or relative.
