This incredible, two bedroom, two bath condominium is located in the Sunstone complex at Juniper Springs Resort. Located in beautiful Mammoth Lakes, California it features awesome ski-in and ski-out access for the ultimate skiing experience. Look up at the mountain from a private deck with all the amenities of home, and then some. Unlike the Juniper Springs condominiums, Sunstone is truly Ski-In and Ski-Out, just steps from the locker room to the ski slope.

Beautiful kitchen with granite counter tops and modern appliances including a large microwave oven and dishwasher. This spectacular condominium sleeps six, with a huge king bed, LCD screen tv and attached bath in the master bedroom, twin beds and LCD screen tv in the second bedroom, and a 7 in thick, comfortable pull-out sofa-bed in the living room. Beautiful custom dining table and mountain decor throughout. Very comfortable living room with a 40 INCH wall mounted LCD screen TV, gas fireplace, cable TV and DVD player.

Located right on the ski slopes of Chair 15 for winter use, and hiking/mountain biking trails in the summer. Toasty warm in the winter and cool in the summer. We provide a fan for each room. Fantastic year-round heated pools and jacuzzi's. As if that were not enough, there are stainless outdoor barbecues, exercise room, laundry room, and high speed internet for your use. To relax a bit before or after skiing, there is a wonderful lounge, and several coffee bistro's. This is a Non-Smoking unit. Sorry, no pets.

Secure heated underground garage parking is available with each unit.

Low level intermediate skiers and riders can cruise down to the Eagle Express lift directly from the edge of the property. This high speed 6 person chair services the Little Eagle Ski Lodge, where you'll find a sport's shop, private ski school, equipment rentals, lockers, and an indoor/outdoor restaurant and bar.

New this year is the Children's ski school at Eagle Lodge!!! Skip the crowds and long lines at Canyon Lodge for the relative tranquility of Eagle Lodge.

We also have another two bedroom condo at Sunstone. We have other premier properties that are not listed that may be available. Ask us about the best midweek pricing available!

Wonderful room in a great location!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I brought our 3 young kids for some summer fun. We were in close proximity to the Village, Mammoth Mountain Adventure Center, and all the beautiful lakes. the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool and we all enjoyed the views. Highly recommended!

Location is superb! Will come back

  • 4 of 5

The location of the property is its biggest attraction. The convenience is invaluable and saves so much time. On the way out, you just change into ski boots in the first floor locker, put on the skis right outside, and ski down to chair 15. Skiing back in is even faster: before reaching the end of the slope and getting into the lift line, just bear to the right and a small slope leads you right back to where you started. The convenience of the location allows to take comfortable lunch (or bathroom) breaks inside the condo and even a nap if needed.

The condo itself is spacious, clean and well maintained. I think calling it luxury is a bit misleading but it's certainly very cozy. The decor is simple and rustic. We are a family of four so the two bedrooms and bathrooms come in very handy. There were two humidifiers but only one works, which we put in the kids room. I wish the other one worked too since the heating made the rooms really dry. The shower of the second bathroom had no shampoo niche or soap bar holder so a shower caddy would have been nice.

Wi-fi signals were pretty stable during our stay.

The underground parking is another plus. It did snow during our stay. We would have had to scrape the snow from the car had we have to park outside.

We cooked most of our meals in the condo and here's what I feel about the kitchen. It's clean and for the most part adequate. It has most of the things needed but also missing a few: the stockpot and bigger frying pan don't have lids, there's no baking pan in the oven, and there's no plastic wrap and aluminum foil. Small table top salt and pepper cans are provided but you will have to bring other seasonings if needed, which I did. I also brought my own Instant Pot electrical pressure cooker and Brita filter pitcher. Except for one stainless steel sauce pan all the pans and pots are all non-stick and scratched (the stock pan is badly scratched), which are inevitable in a rental property. This might be a concern to people who try to avoid coated, non-stick cooking ware. If the owner is to update them my suggestion would be to go stainless steel. Please note that I'm not trying to be picky or complaining here but just want to make notes of the things that potential customers might want to be aware of. Small things like these have in no way affected our experience and the fact that we had a really wonderful ski trip owes a lot to the convenience and comfort that this property provided.

You can't get much closer to the lift!

  • 5 of 5

Having never stayed at Sunstone we didn't know what to expect other than we did not have to get in our truck and drive it to the lifts.

-Joe, the personable property manager

-clean and well maintained unit

-underground parking

-about 100 feet to the ski lockers and then about another 50 feet or so to the ski in & out trail leading to the Eagle lift

-about 100 feet to the gym, and outdoor heated pool and hot tub

-the sofa bed was reported as comfortable by my 10 year old

-comfortable master bed

-large L shaped might not think much of it but this was key as it made our unit the gathering place for 2 families as our friends unit only had a standard 3 person couch

-board games (monopoly kept the 6 kids entertained for hours)

-6 sleds found underneath the twin beds

-the kitchen didn't have a few minor things, which I mentioned to Joe that he might want to invest scissors and a blender

-we were there for 4 days 3 nights and ran out of trash bags and dishwasher tablets. We just borrowed an extra bag and tablet from our friends.

I hate to recommend this place to anyone as it will only make it more difficult for my family to book next year! But.....

Would I stay here again? ABSOLUTELY

Do I recommend that you stay here? HELL NO! ; )
