The old town of Antibes is a bustling, pedestrian-friendly area, full of shops, restaurants, cafes, galleries, museums and markets. There are a number of sandy beaches within 10-20 minutes' walk of the house - all of them are safe and family-friendly.
The ground floor of the house has an entrance hall and toilet. The first floor has a living room/kitchen/diner with a fully fitted modern kitchen, breakfast bar with two bar-stools, four chairs and a kitchen table, and two large armchairs, 28-inch television with English & French channels and a DVD player. The second floor has a double bedroom, single bedroom, bathroom and separate toilet. The top floor has a bedroom/sitting room with a single daybed and a large sunny roof terrace which has a distant view of the sea and the mountains.
The kitchen has: a microwave, washer-dryer, family-size dishwasher, family-size fridge with small freezer compartment (for ice), separate freezer, oven (with grill), ceramic hotplate, kettle and two-slice toaster, hand-held mixer and a hand-held blender.
As the house has three steep staircases, it will not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
We do not have child safety gates on the three staircases and we are therefore not suitable for children between one and five years of age. We have a cot and a high-chair for children under one year old.
Guests will be sent a Welcome Pack, in the form of a pdf, once Homeaway receives their full booking details and payment. This pack contains information about the equipment in the house, the housekeeping service and the local area.
I can be contacted by guests by phone and online message, and the housekeeping service (based in Antibes) can provide on-site assistance.
Guests will be met at the house by the housekeeping service, when they will be given sets of house keys and will be shown around the house. Check-in and Check-out will be arranged with the housekeeping service and their contact details will be provided to guests once a booking has been made. Check-In will usually take place after 14.00 and Check-Out by 12.00. During the summer season, check-in and check-out will take place on Saturdays.

We bought our Antibes townhouse in the mid-eighties and it has been enjoyed by many generations of my family. The old town of Antibes has a very special atmosphere, unlike any other town on the French Riviera.
I love that our house is centrally located in the old town: 10 minutes' walk from the train station, two minutes from a supermarket or the Marche Provencal, 10 minutes from a beach. I have never needed a car in Antibes as everything is so accessible. I can go out in the morning to buy coffee and croissants and, 10 minutes later, I can be sat in the sunshine on our roof terrace, eating my breakfast.
Abbiamo avuto solo un piccolo disagio all'inizio la terrazza non era stata ben pulita ma hanno provveduto subito.
La casa in agosto aveva un prezzo molto elevato direi decisamente troppo alto rispetto agli standard di comfort e pulizia che mi aspettavo di trovare.
Il vicolo in cui si trova è rumoroso c'è un locale sotto ed il fornaio accanto.
In una parola: sconsigliata.
