Very convenient location

I stayed here for a week for some work at the University of Utah and really liked it. The home was comfortable and not far from the campus where I needed to be each day. It was nice to come back to a home with a kitchen and hot tub than a hotel room.

The owner and his staff Wendy wee very helpful and the groceries they delivered for me was a great service.

I would add a few extra blankets, but the bed was comfortable and the home was very clean. Overall, very nice and would stay here again.

Really enjoyed our stay

Great location. We were very pleased with the nice hot tub and comfort of our bed in the master. We were treated very professionally and the owner and his staff were quite accommodating. We had an issue with the disposal, but it was remedied the next day. We would stay here again. Thanks.

Very comfortable nice unit

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this home. It is the lower duplex unit of the main home. We loved the very convenient location and were well taken care of by the owner /staff. The unit is comfortable, adequately appointed, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with the supplies we needed.

Instructions and assistance from the owner were very professional and much appreciated. We would stay here again.

unpleasantly surprised

This place is a far cry from the pictures. What you don't see is the broken chair rungs, windows that don't lock, cracked tile, missing closet handles, paint chips on walls, broken table, missing light bulbs, the slowest internet speed you can buy, flat-screen tv but NO HD channels, window blinds and cupboard faces that have not been cleaned in years, noisy fans, zero insulation between floors so that you hear every step someone takes in the upper unit, very outdated appliances, everything done as cheaply as possible. Plus almost no response from staff for maintenance, etc. All the items above were reported on arrival, almost none had been fixed or even acknowledged by departure. Calls to staff were not returned, for example, 3 calls to the office were made in one day, messages left, zero response. Only positive - location is central. Would not recommend.

Owner's Response: We appreciate the opportunity that Gary W. allowed us to improve our home. Our staff and maintenance team were quite surprised to see this review as we became very familiar with Mr. W. after promptly and frequently responding to requests on an almost daily basis, including; dropping off additional light bulbs, cleaning supplies, instructions on how to operate a recliner, television remotes, and other operational issues in addition to some of the maintenance items listed. Although we strive to provide the best housing in Utah, we, like any homeowner, have light bulbs burn out, a punch list of repairs such as the cracked tile, additional insulation, and new appliances. In our experience, we find it best not to begin demolition or other major construction projects during a guests stay. We admit there is always room for improvement therefore we have worked on the items we can address in the immediate future to improve the property.

Our new favorite downtown home

Our company is frequent visitors of Salt Lake for the Outdoor retailer expo twice a year. We just stayed in this home for our winter show. We rent homes so our staff has more room and because its more economical. This home was one of the best we've stayed in because of its convenient location, large kitchen, privacy, and the hot tub was great and private. The beds were comfortable which made a difference in our daily workload, and the family room is quite comfortable with the large sectional. We've determined that as a company we will probably continue staying here each time we visit Salt Lake. Very nice accommodations and the service was great too.

Great Attention to Details - Service Fabulous!

First time in Utah. Home was very accommodating. The owner and his staff were first class and very professional. Quick responding, astute, personable, and saved us on a car rental discount. The home was clean, well appointed, beds were comfortable, kitchen was adequately (even more so) for meal preparation and dining space. We were a group of 10 and were quite impressed.

We would stay here again. It's also a very convenient location in downtown we found.

Great downtown location! Close to everything in downtown SLC. Nestled in beautiful energetic neighborhood in downtown SLC. Down the street from fabulous Sugarhouse Park. Also enjoy birds at nearby aviary, and Hogle zoo down the street is awesome with new polar bear exhibit. University of Utah just down the street as well. So many great things to do within a short drive.
