About Ray

I purchased my home on Pasatiempo to be able to enjoy the relaxing lifestyle of Palm Springs, to briefly escape the cold winters of Minnesota or just to come out periodically during the rest of the year with friends.

Ray purchased this house in 2011

Why Ray chose Palm Springs

Movie Colony East (Ruth Hardy Park) is an area with very nice homes, close to downtown and airport, great mountain views and Ruth Hardy Park!

What makes this house unique

The pool and hot tub are beautiful day and night with mountain views and quiet neighborhood. Most of the entertaining I do is out in the backyard. There is a shaded patio and open patio surrounded by well manicured landscaping. It is great to just lay out, dine outside or just read a good book.

It's a great home away from home!

Charming, relaxing and close proximity to shopping, restaurants and golf! That pool and hot tub were so much fun. Having coffee oveooking the pool on quiet mornings was peaceful.

What a gem!

  • 5 of 5

We were a group of four adults that spent 10 days at this very pretty property in Palm Springs. We were so pleased with the home! It looked exactly like the attractive photos in VRBO. In addition, the home was very clean and well stocked with necessities like paper products and cleaning supplies. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of pillows. The outdoor living space was superb, including a generous covered area, really great outdoor furniture, and of course, the new pool and spa. The gardens clearly were lovingly planned, and immaculate.

The home is within walking distance of old Palm Springs, which we did on several occasions. The surrounding neighborhoods are very interesting to meander through as well.

The owner couldn't have been more delightful to work with. He was very quick to respond to questions, and refunded our damage deposit promptly.

I would absolutely stay here again!

Great Location, Stunning View, & Private

  • 5 of 5

The backyard is perfect! A view of the mountains, beautiful palm trees, and the heated POOL/SPA was made for relaxing. Although we had neighbors on all sides of us, it was still very private as the entire house was surrounded with a privacy wall and plenty of greenery. The neighborhood is quiet and made for a serene setting. The location was close to grocery stores, restaurants, parks, and the lovely strip of Palm Springs. It was also very easy to access main roads for day trips to Joshua Tree and the Empire Polo Club for Desert Trip music festival (Also the home of Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals). The homeowner Ray is ready to answer any questions you may have and was quick to return our deposit once our stay was over.

Overall an unforgettable vacation and we would not hesitate to stay here again!

TIP: Go watch the sunrise or sunset, or both in Joshua Tree if you can make the time. If not, the sunrise is still pretty awesome from the rental home.

Excellent stay in Palm Springs!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in Palm Springs for a few days in April of 2016. It was the perfect stay! The house was clean, fully stocked and nicely decorated. The owner was very responsive and a pleasure to speak with. The views from the outside of the home were beautiful and the pool was perfect! We very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again when we return to Palm Springs. Highly recommended!

Don't Look Any Further for the BEST Vacation House!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I have rented houses in Palm Springs since 2008, and this house is by far the best we've found! The neighborhood is quiet and a quick walk to the most lovely park in Palm Springs, Ruth Hardy. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. We love to cook, and not only was the kitchen design a cook's dream, the cupboards were stocked like no other house we've rented. If you are lucky to rent this home while the lemons are ripe, you can make fresh lemonade like we did. The bed was comfy, the master bedroom spacious, and the rainfall showers in both bathrooms luxurious! We spent most of our time lounging by the pool during the day and enjoying the spa in the evenings. The yard was private and the covered patio was a perfect place for meals and drinks. Ray, the owner, is awesome. He was responsive and very helpful in securing the reservation and making sure everything was just right. As long as this house is available for our next trip, we will never again have to search and search for the right house!
