Whether you are looking for a beach holiday or to walk in stunning mountain scenery this villa is the perfect holiday base. La Alberca is a development set in the mountains rising inland from Benidorm on the Mediterranean coast. This modern villa is detached, with off road parking, roof terrace, patio and use of a well-maintained almost adjacent communal pool.
Inside the property is air-conditioned, comfortable, quiet and well-equipped. Oil-filled radiators are fitted in the living room and each bedroom that make the property also suitable for comfortable stays in the cooler winter months of the year. Wi-fi is also provided that allows for email and moderate internet browsing.
The spacious L-shaped living room is air-conditioned and also has two oil-filled wall heaters. It is furnished in contemporary style with large comfortable sofa, flat screen TV with satellite channels, DVD player, and radio/CD system. There is a separate dining area with glass and chrome table and six chairs.
The fully fitted kitchen is separated from the lounge by a small breakfast bar and is equipped with fridge/freezer, electric oven, halogen hob, extractor, microwave and washing machine. All cutlery, pots, and cooking utensils are provided. Broom, ironing board, iron, vacuum cleaner and airer are located in the cupboard off the dining area.
Bedroom 1 is on first floor with air conditioning and wall heater, double bed, built-in wardrobe, en-suite bathroom and direct access to the sun terrace.
The second bedroom is on the ground floor with air conditioning and wall heater, ceiling fan, built-in wardrobe, and twin beds (which can be made up as a large double if requested in advance). The en-suite bathroom to bedroom 1 has white WC, basin, and bath tub with shower over. There is a second family bathroom on the ground floor with white WC, basin and walk-in shower.
Outside the property has a raised covered porch to the front with small table and chairs for relaxed eating or drinking at any time of the day. At the rear, with direct access from the kitchen, is a secluded paved patio with great views of the mountains that rise spectacularly directly behind the villa. Here there is a large table with sun umbrella that comfortably seats six together with a gas BBQ and two sun loungers. A sun terrace reached from the main bedroom has wonderful views of the surrounding mountains as well as the Mediterranean sea in the distance.
The shared swimming pool is conveniently located just one house away from the property. With the swimming pool so close, and the excellent facilities all within a very short drive, this villa makes a perfect holiday base for couples or families.
The popular resort of Benidorm with its stunning blue flag beaches, extensive night-life and all the amenities you would expect of a busy resort town is just 15 minutes drive. For those seeking a more restful beach holiday the towns of Albir and Altea are a similar distance. Excellent local amenities can be found in the towns of La Nucia and Polop de la Marina, both of which are less than 10 minutes drive from the property. There is an excellent choice of restaurants within 10 minutes drive.
Climbers, walkers and those looking to venture into the spectacular mountains of the locality will find the villa to be an ideal base nestling on the lower slopes of Puig Campana with uninterrupted views of the summit. The hill top town of Guadalest and stunning scenery of the Xallon Valley can both be easily reached with a very short car drive.
Families with children will appreciate the closeness of Terra Mitica theme park and Terra Natura water park. Alternatively the Fonts d'Algar are just 25 minutes away where you can swim in the clear cool waters of the cascades and picnic under the shade of the trees.
Visitors with reduced mobility will appreciate the grab rails installed in the downstairs walk-in shower, and to the front & rear external entrances.
You can check into the property from 4.00 pm on the arrival day but we will try and accommodate an earlier check-in request whenever possible, depending on the previous guests' departure. Check out time is 10.00 am on the morning of departure although again we will try and accommodate all requests to stay later if there are no guests due to check in on the same day.
