Casale Refoli is located near the village of Casole d'Elsa in the province of Siena. Casole d'Elsa, an ancient Etruscan origin, is an important historical center of Val d'Elsa. Subject of contention between Florence and Volterra, the village of Casole d'Elsa owes its imposing walls of the Siena domain.
Today, Casole d'Elsa is a city awarded the "Orange Flag", the mark of a quality tourism environment that the Italian Touring Club attaches to the interior location for the development of quality tourism.
The property of Casale Refoli has been completely restored maintaining unchanged shape, volume and part of the original (see photos of ruins of Cetinaglia) and transformed into a cozy and comfortable house. The interiors of Casale Refoli are comfortably equipped and well-finished. The floors are in "COTTO" made by hand, ceilings in traditional beams of oak, crafted wooden kitchens with marble shelves with all the furnishings.
The hand-made mattresses are comfortable (double cm 200x170 and single cm 200x90-190x80). Bedroom wardrobes are old and restored by skilled craftsmen, some dining tables are valuable and recently restored. Not included in the price to be paid on place. _ Minimum Security Deposit: EURO 150 to be paid in cash par apartment at arrival The deposit will be returned by the owner at the end of the holiday, after the final apartment inspection. _ Tax of tourist sojourn of Casole d'Elsa village is excluded: 0,60 EUR per person per night. No more than 5 nights. (Children under 12 years will not pay). _ ELECTRICITY AND AIR CONDITIONING The standard consumption of electricity included in rent of apartment is 4 KWh per day.
